Doobs - will try to find the link to the poker site that mentioned not depositing - the site gave a weighted breakdown of all chests and in some cases the top tier chest paid the same percentage

They did however point out that if you use your coins to play the deal once every 12 hours your returns would be better than the chests RB and once the deal was over 274,000 (i think was the number) playing at 70 stars was beneficial -

Since November I have played cash only on PS - I really do not like there reward system, so I decided to make a one man stand and every couple of days when I upgraded to a new chest level I would immediately exchange back down to the basic blue chest picking up 60 star coins each time.

I know this is slightly detrimental as in theory the bigger chests should = more reward - though to me RB is just additional bunce as my win rate is in the good +++ level.

However, I have now been caught out by the AI instead of getting 60 star coins for each chest they give me 10 star coins and 2 x 25c spin tickets. I do not play Spins on PS

I am now wondering do I have to take my chest levels to level 4 to get the system to reset.

Any thoughts - also as an aside I have been told that not depositing and just leaving your money on site does have a detrimental effect on the RB and rewards

Does anybody know whether you are penalised if you just keep playing on PS and do not withdraw.

I thought I saw somewhere that you get better RB and other goodies if you constantly deposit ie (losing player or winning player) equals - gets more benefits but i do not know if that is true. I am only playing cash and for the last couple of months things have gone okay - so if i withdraw BR do I lose out on dollar conversion and gain on other benefits when i put the money back on the site.

It all seems a terrible faff any ideas.

Finally the demise of 25cents

Having got bored with online poker (in truth though I am just not good enough to win on a regular basis, win at mtts lose it all playing cash) back to 25 cents.

So i decided to see what I had left on some accounts and there on GG Poker was 25 cents - so I fired up a Spin & Gold (Saturday) and it is now Thursday morning and after putting in 12 hrs + play over the week the 25 cents has gone, and to be fair to 25 cents he would have probably kept on going if i had not moved to the cash game and lost several buy ins.

So 25 cents has gone but he will not be forgiven.

Really looking forward to playing live again online is so soulless

Whilst waiting for Boris (the Bumbler) to announce new lock down measures I have spent the day listening to Brad Wilsons podcast which I hasten to add are well done. 3 that stand out so far are Jungleman , Jared Tindler and Barry Carter.

As someone who is new to podcasts - can I have some recommendations especially looking for good ones discussing Pot limit omaha/hi/low or any that have good insights into the poker world.

All players have 100bb - just sat down I am on the Button this is my first hand - players 6 russians 2 belarus

I always look at the countries the players are from to give myself an idea on the aggression factor

UTG raises 4bb , HJ raises to 14bb me on the button holding AQo insta folds utg tanks and then folds - not sure if folding was good or should I have ramped it up to 50bb knowing that I am potentially going to put the rest of my stack in if a A or Q come on the flop

Tournament Play I would snap fold cash I am not sure whether that is correct

What I mean by dominated is in the last few weeks when we are down to the last fifty or so players and are in the money I have noticed that over 85% of the players left come from one country and in a couple of cases  this has been 99%.

So I have ended up on a table with 8/1 ratio - I am not and do not in anyway infer that these players then collude but you do tend to find that when you open or re-raise you have a few more callers than normal.

This has made me play more defensive and less prone to chuck in the odd bluff or open a bit wider than at the start

My question is do I play even tighter or way looser I really don't know and when your playing 60/70bb you just can't jam every time you have a premium.

Just some info from utg I am opening 20% of hands on a 70bb stack to nearly 45% on the button

Celtic - Grosvenor will not close my account unless it is verified the Rep Wendy is very adamant on this it will just become a dormant account which I can activate at anytime. If you work for Grosvenor I am sure you could ask Wendy why this is and that she who is employed by them is wrong

Also I have in the last week made withdrawals from the 2 biggest poker sites neither have asked for verification and the monies have hit my account I continue to play on them without issue

I can confirm that you are 100% incorrect, neither account will be closed unless I verify it, this maybe because I still have funds on both accounts.

What I find strange is that one of these accounts I have made several 4 figure withdrawals without a problem so whats changed in the last couple of years.

Also when speaking to the rep they agree that I am who I say I am because i know the passwords and other pertinent questions, they just say they need the docs - and I really cant be bothered -

I had an issue with some reward that I was meant to get and did not - I was not a happy bunny and went back saying so - anyway  got kicked up the support chain of command .

They kind of admitted it was a misunderstanding and gave me the reward - what was interesting was the response times

2 days to tell me they had credited the reward

when I emailed them back to say there was nothing there less than 1 hour for them to say tough they had taken it back

2 days to reply saying sorry reward was back in my account

So with a bit of perseverance and getting the right support person  we ended up a winner or rather a loser those $25 spins sure go fast

Numerous times I see people shoving pre flop or on the flop AA v KK ,s8 v sets and it always seems that the person who is ahead uses the cashing out facility -

why go all in to then cash out? The only peeps that I can see that benefit from cashing out is Pokerstars.

I always let the cards run and have never used the cash out facility am I losing +ev for not using the facility
