Is it today for the RP special?

Yes.  My usual annual goose chase around every newsagent to find a copy.  Tough living in a small town where plenty of 365 lol's also live and getting up late trying to find a copy (made even worse this year clashing with Goodwood).  Took 5 shops/garages before i found a copy.

My favourite part of the read every year is seeing the huge differences of opinions from the lol's on individual teams top goalscorers.  Some of the differences in prices are quite incredible from firm to firm on major players.  Rooney ranging from 4/6 to 13/8, Kane 1/3 - 1/6, Rashford 3/1 - 13/2, Coutinho 3/1 - 12/1, Sturridge 9/2 - 12/1, Defoe 2/5-11/10, Deeney 4/6-2/1, Crouch 9/4 - 8/1.   For those lucky enough to be able to get on these prices i would suggest this is a key area to target to find an edge ante post.  No betfair to copy for the lol's leaves them all over the place when it comes to pricing up these markets.

Took me three shops. About to sit down and read it now. Lovely scenes.

There's a new favourite for CBB. (Note I scooped Chompy on this).

You reckon Mark Langdon (head football writer for RP) reads tft/blonde chompy?  Some of his stuff just seems like C&P from certain club threads on blonde.

Betway's 2/7 Liverpool to finish above Everton  (1/4 with Hills) seems like buying money.  The spreads have them 15 points apart.  Some firms go 1/9 Liverpool.  Worth putting in any multiple bet with these two firms ante post if you don't want to tie up money for 9 months.

lolbrokes 2/7 Southampton to finish above WBA looks a close second in buying money.

The biggest rick i have seen so far in the specials markets is Southampton top Southern Club at 4/7 with bald/hills (betway are 8/13 per the pull out)  As short as 1/3 in a place.  Soton in for 11.5 points more than Bournemouth on the spreads and 16 clear of Brighton.  This should probably be closer to 1/4 than 4/7.

With Neymar seeming a done deal, it must be worth putting PSG in multiples too at 1/4.

I think the 12/1 to win the champions league is value, suggest £20 at 12/1.

Hi what do we possibly know about PSG at 12-1 that the market doesn't?

the price has moved ahead of Neymar joining, now he joins and we want to back it now?

p.s AC Milan at 9-1 (equally, all the transfer activity is priced in) for the Europa looks better if we are talking ante post...:-)

Anyone used BetBright?

Just deposited £20 to take advantage of their 4 x £10 free bet offer if you bet £20 on the first race, however everything shows as SP, and it states SP doesn't qualify for the offer!

Quite possibly. Why wouldn't he? Who knows who lurks here. Some of the ROIs of the regs on here have been pretty incred and I'm surprised word hasn't spread more tbh.

Not sure why they haven't put up Stoke for the drop. Had them listed as finishing 18th in the team-by-team bit and got a good mention, but no rec. I'm going in again at 7-1.

Restricted after 3 days at Cheltenham and wouldn't take an e./w bet never used it since.  Shoddy Irish Wankers.

Hello.
It just seemed to me that the biggest transfer in football history being confirmed made PSG seem value at 12/1 with Neymar v Barcelona at 4/1 without Neymar.
I thought 12/1 was a stale price I wouldn't want to lay.
PSG consistently make the quarter finals and this signing seems to take them to the next level.
I accept that having been 20/1 two weeks ago you might not want to take 12/1.

I wondered that as well.  They sneaked them in a releg tricast at 66/1 then ML made a statement in the Stoke section that they are probably not the 18th worst team in the PL but at the prices they are a value selection to go down then he doesn't tip them in the relegation section outright.  Weird.  They have been well 'under' on the machine for a week now so i was expecting the RP to have put them up as the main releg headline selection tbh.

12/1 now gone, as short as 17/2.

It is 12/1 in 4 spots still.  As short as 17/2 is pretty meaningless.

12/1 may well be a bit big still, as it has gone shorter on betfair, albeit for peanuts.

You'd still put them after Bacelona, Real Madrid and Bayern and he isn't really worth 222m Euros, is he?

I am not sure Tikay wants much long term stuff either.

Thanks for the replies, all good points and happy for you to leave it.
Would Neymar signing make PSG an even more attractive option for other top players such as Coutinho/Sanchez, and see the price contract further?

I think Tom/The Dazzler put this PSG bet up a couple of weeks ago - can't remember the exact price but might well have been 20/1.
