Andy Gomm is OUT

His  Ah came up against Rauf's  As .

First two cards were excellent for Gomm.

Then came the dreaded  .

Gomm groans and rose from the table, seemingly aware that he wasn't going to hit the flush.

Turn =

River =  Two Clubs

Gomm exits the comp.

Alan McLean is now in full bullying mode.

Dave Barnes raises to 10k.

McLean reraises another 30k.

Dave Barnes announces pass and shows pocket tens.

Steve Wilsdon has just doubled up thanks to Rauf.

All chips went in before the flop.

Rauf held  . Wilsdon shows bullets -  Ah

A board of  Two Clubs two spades provides no help for Rauf, and Wilsdon takes down the pot.

Steve Millington is OUT.

His Kings were eventually no match for Anthony Nicholl's nines, which made a set first card.

The qualfiers are dropping like flies, leaving the big guns to fight it out.

Hard luck Red...

Back here Mark Alden has exited after such a promising start to the day (Jonathan 'eagle-eyes' Raab has the details).

And 'Q' has been busy since the early hours of this morning setting up the old televised final area, which he assures us would be "ready to go straight away."  Here he is, among the more efficient of his techie brethren, sat like a newsreader with Duncan behind the ingenious simplified hole-card-cam table they made last year.

Rauf has now doubled up David Clark too.

Clark doubles through with A-K v Q-J. The king on the river seals the deal.

With multiple interest in a preflop pot, Mahmoud Rauf committed the last of his chips, only to be called by Womble, Darren Grosvenor and Barny Boatman.  It was clear the checked-down board of  three clubs Two Clubs was not to his liking as he stood up, mucking his hand.  The pot went in the end to Barny with his  , and we have lost Mahmoud in 14th place.

Traynor doubles up with 8-5 on an 8-10-5 flop.

Alan McLean provided the action with K-T.

Turn and river provided no extra help.
