I wonder what price "mottled duck-egg" was in the colour of the Queen's hat market.

Only beteveryday have the market for 'bottom at xmas' available so far, so woulda wanna see how others price up certain clubs.
However, I'm looking at Brighton....
Ended the season in dismal form. No significant movements in the transfer window so far (as far as I'm aware) New manager who might or might not need time to get his ideas and philosophy installed into the players. Potter is also new to the PL, and didn't particularly pull up many trees in his season at Swansea. Murray's goals completely dried up last season and he's another year older. Seem to lack a goalscorer in the ranks.
Their 5 games directly before Christmas are Liverpool (away), Arsenal (away), Wolves (home), Palace (away), Sheff Utd (home). That could be very slim pickings for them.
Difficult to gauge if 9/1 is decent or not, and I'd want to see how other bookies gauge it. I think Brighton could be in for a long hard season again, but intrigued to know the thoughts of the Brighton follower/s on here.

As a Brighton season ticket holder, I can tell you there is so much more optimism about the team this year than last. That’s not to say they won’t go down or be in the relegation mix, any of the bottom half probably could be, but they should be much more competitive in games rather than sitting back and hoping not to concede whilst nicking one from a set piece.
By all account Potter did an incredible job at Swansea given the situation - basically forced to play youth teamers - and he did a fantastic job at Oostersunds. Of course, none of that says 9/1 isn’t too big but just some additional context.
I certainly don’t expect Murray to start many games this season coming.

Makes that 1/6, 3/1, 3/1 tennis market from the other day look great value. Think this may be a no bet race.

Funniest thing is he is offering each way! Has queenie got 3 different hats for different parts of the day? Star sports report Grey has been backed from 50/1 to 8/11. He might get filled in at evens. 6/4 with Martyn from Leicester. 'Money without work'. Gus O'Neill spotted in the second row behind Martyn its like a Leicester bookmakers day out at Ascot. Had my first ever oncourse bet with Gus at Leicester in 1995.

£80,000 waiting at 9/2... Went about 1/2 in running. I don't think I could be a bookie.
