The Wolverine - Makes up for the insultingly awful first Wolverine film and also the wasted opportunity of X-men 3.  A bit overlong but has whetted the appetite for the X-men next year.

Worlds End -The first 30 mins has a fantastic setup and story, then the aliens arrived.  They weren't needed.

Sadly a little bit let down by django unchained?! After all the hype! I love Tarantino in general. Just found this was a little too long and found myself bored in parts. No outstanding performances really I think Samuel l Jackson was v good though.

Maybe it gets better the 2nd time round?

Speaking of being let down, that's exactly how I was left feeling after watching "Only god forgives" (Ryan Gosling and same director as drive)

Me too - trailer looked really good but I've seen a couple of reviews which said it was zzzzzzz.

Watched Wolverine and Now You See Me.

Both enjoyable fun movies, by no means spectacular but worth a watch if you've got nowt better to do.

7/10 each

Oh dear, Alan Partirdge. Woeful effort. Steve Coogan has always been patchy but what's happened to Armando Ianucci? Couldn't believe he'd ever be behind something so shite.

It feels nothing like the TV series and too much time has passed. Don't bother with this imo, just go back and watch the good stuff on Gold.

Cinema was half full but didn't hear more than the occasional half-chuckle for the first hour. Then left.

I agree with Claw.  Thought Alpha Papa was absolutely hilarious.  Definitely a great follow on from the TV Series and some great laughs in there.  I have a feeling it will be one of those films where you see more stuff the second time round.

8/10, at least.
