ok. this is a spot I have just made up (and made simple for my purpose), because I don't have a hand history of a good one. But...for argument's sake..

online $100 9-man sng, 8 players left. 50/100 - we are playing 2000

we open to 250 from UTG+1
(- we have been more active than most so far, but nothing OTT)

C/O min 3-bets to 400 (and has us covered)
(- villain has doubed up being on the good end of a cooler. again, he has been more active than most, but has not pulled any nutty aggro moves so far (though we are only ~20mins in)

what do we do if we have...
1)
2)
3)  Two Clubs Two Diamonds
4)
5)

sorry if the answers seem obvious. I have my own set ways of playing these (assuming no prior notes on the villain) and would be interested to know what others do

1. Jam
2. Call playing for pair value as well as set mining
3. Would never open this utg+1 with stack sizes and icm reasons, meh call and set mine if he is baddish, fold if he is good.
4. Jam
5. Wouldn't open pre for reasons like 3, probs fold unless villain is bad postflop.

Fair point about not opening those hands. I didn't think it through too much - I also wouldn't open these hands (unless table was super nitty - rare nowadays). But interested to hear what people think anyway assuming we did open them..

Would strongly consider jamming 22 aswel, cos he isnt calling it off with  three clubs 3dthrough  very often but will call AK.

I just don't value set mining at this stage in a SNG, and oop anything but c/f any flop with no T is a bit spewy.
I don't think double ups are as valuable in a SNG as they are in MTT's (and obv cash) because in one blind levels time you can start shoving to take down pots and accumulate that way.
