Alan Stearn opens to 100,000
Anon and Mason call in the big blinds
Anon check calls 250,000
Anon checks
Stearn shove 650,000
"I am straightening and flushing"
"I gamble. Call" and Anon flips
Stearn
river
Huge double up in these circumstances for Stearn

he's the shortstack of ten with 500,000 blinds just going 30-60k
He is shoving fairly frequently but interestingly and very cleverly NEVER into Ben Vinson's big blind. Shrewd (as presumably Ben and his stack/knowledge will call wider than a lot of others)
He hasn't been called yet, and is picking up enough blinds and antes to keep in it

Lil Dave or Ben Vincent for the win. Trying to negotiate with Poker Stars to get the live stream on the big screen in Deauville.
They are not receptive. Really ?

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.
