End of 7 levels

120 left

Average is 45,000

blinds go 400-800/75 next

Three levels to play tonight

As you might have suspected since about 8pm updating has become more and more difficult. The cash game is taking a lot of room, and being watched by many railbirds. I personally seemed to underestimate the power of poker celebrity!

With three comps sandwiched into the top two levels it's tricky to get round, even for someone as light on my feet as I am.

I hope the crowds thin out shortly and I can bring you some proper hands again

The upside is that the club has a great atmosphere, the profile of the club is about to increase again and bar takings are very good!

Glenn Laming is out, and so is nephew Joe. Dan Laming has about 100,000

The damage for Glenn was done when he ran a bluff

Called a raise in the big blind with 5-6

flop 3-4-4

Glenn check calls the c-bet

turn Q

Glenn check raises a 5,000 bet from Sam McDonald to 15,000 but has to fold to a shove all in covering him

Sam shows Q-Q

Glenn didn't recover.

Well that was a fun 20 minutes, didn't see a flop!

Walking around

- Julian Thew has made a nice recovery to approaching 100,000. I saw him 4 bet pre against Daniel Laming who 3 bet the button, and got a fold

- Both Andrew Wayman and Andrienna Nutt have recovered to over 50,000. That table is quite sparky. I beleive Derek Power received a warning for softplaying his mate, Steve Watts. TitaniumBean especially is quite exercised by the whole situation

- Also on that table the ever consistent Peter Charalambous is over 100,00. Thomas Dunwoodie who I never see do much but is usually there or thereabout come the latter days 75,000

- All going well: Mark Trett, Robert Boon and Jim Reid, all above average at 60-80,000

- Chris Brammer, Richie Allen, Rupinder Bedi and Danny Rudd sharing a table. Brammer the biggest stack at 80,000. Rest under average

- Laurence Houghton and Jake Cody sharing a table, both under average

George Bedi opens in the cut off

Richie Allen 3 bets on the button

Chris Brammer cold 4 bet jams the big blind covering both

George calls all in

Allen tank folds Jacks

George A-K

Brammer A-J

George holds and doubles to 90,000

Nice call by George there - shows what Brammer's image must be like.

Richard Norfolk opens the cut off, John Eames 3 bets the button

Jen Chiang 4 bets the small blind

Norfolk folds

Eames dwell flats

flop

Chiang leads and is called

turn

Chiang check calls

Eames has left a pot sized bet behind in what is now a large pot

river

Chiang checks, Eames jams (which appears exactly as planned from the bet sizing)

Chinag dwell dwell dwell folds, claims Kings

Eames smiles, and is well over 100,000

Richie Allen raises, Brammer 3 bets (now there is a surprise)

Danny Rudd shoves the big blind

Allen iso shoves. Brammer passes

Allen

Rudd

flop

no miracles though for Rudd, no more hearts and Allen knocks him out in an 85,000 pot
