An astute signing or two in January and who knows?

Its an interesting time. We have a midfield with great players like Ozil, Santi C, Wiltshire, Gnabry, Walcott, Ox, and we have The Donkey Diaby as well. Yet they can't all play at the same time.
I know most of them don't think like this but it must be great being paid tens of thousands each week and then not even having to be judged on your performance because you are sat out!
Poor old Giroud, though. No rest for him methinks.

Seeing as he's scored ten goals you should mention Ramsey and there's also Arteta and Flamini who has been outstanding since he returned.

Absolutely. Just adds to my point. Some are gonna struggle to even get a game!

I am not sure it was their first real test? They played Dortmund and lost to the better side, Dortmund are better than Liverpool.

So are Napoli in all probability and we eased past them 2-0.
We weren't really outplayed by Dortmund just pressed a little too hard for the win.

Yes. In much the same way as I look forward to my dentist's appointments.
Hoping for a clean bill of health afterwards.

I think Arsenal will beat Man U on Sunday.
I'm not sure if you can win the title but you do look very strong, if you buy a quality striker in January it doesn't seem implausible. You are still a little way off the quality of squads that City and Chelsea have but if you god mode injuries you could do a win. ( I'm aware you have a few good players currently injured)
I thought you were very unlucky against Dortmund.
Is Mertesacker good now btw ?

I know EXACTLY how you feel.
I think the game has far more significance for us than it does for you this time around. Winning would be massive for either side, losing would be disappointing for you, but not disastrous.

Whilst I do agree with the Fergie factor playing it's part, on paper do you not think even with Fergie you'd still be in a similar position to what you are ?

I would be happy to lay Arsenal to win the Premier League.
They have (in my view) too many very average players, but OZil has done so much for them

There's plenty of 4/1 for you to get stuck into on BF.
I hope we make it uncomfortable for you.

We'd be in a very similar position in terms of being 8 points behind the leaders - the difference this season is that a number of 'smaller' clubs have put themselves between us and the top of the table.

If Arsenal become the champions or a close second, then it shows how bad the Premier League is.
Dortmund tearing them a new one.
