Stephen Pearce was on my table on Day 1 and was extremely annoying. Talking complete rubbish constantly, we were sat right by the television and the golf was on and he apparently was more of an expert than Bruce Harmon, thank god for headphones.
He looks a bit like Ted Forrest but plays more like Father Ted.

I have to agree with you here mate, he does like to talk poker at the table, but some of the stuff he comes out with reminds me of when i first started playing poker. He comes across as an amateur, but the fella has a nice stack, so fair play to him.

nono, im not defending him, i wouldn't like to post what i think of him as id like to keep the updates all positive.

But you must appreciate everyone has their own style of playing poker and if it works, it works!

Here's the, er, colourful Stephen Pearce showing Woody Deck who's boss.  He said, "FINALLY you get a picture of me."

note the evil glare of Stephen Pearce victim Ben Vinson directly behind him. If only looks could kill....

For the Jan Heitmann fan club (of which I feel like signing up, he's ever so nice):  the man himself, whom I told his homegame players were rooting for him - and this was the smiley response you got...

And here's the small matter of how much wonga they are playing for today...

1st - £135,000
2nd - £72,500
3rd - £44,300
4th - £26,200
5th - £20,200
6th - £16,100
7th - £10,100
8th - £7,100
9th - £5,000
10th - £4,000
11-14th - £3,000
15-18th - £2,500
19-23rd - £2,000
24-24th - £1,750

I'm bemused by the fact that there's a bigger gap between 6th and 7th than 5th and 6th.
