I can't remember when the first sale in the new year was last year, but I can't imagine it would be too far in.

there hasn't been any since they launched the split peak and off peak, opinion seems to be that there won't be any more

Virgin sent me an eMail today saying they had a sale on until 8th February.
Does not look much of a Sale to me - Vegas return from Gatters "from £818"?
I'm sure it used to be about £400 return.

The winter sale also only covers a small outbound window: 04 Jan 18 - 08 Feb 18.
You can do LGW-LAS in Jan for £518: £154 flight plus £364 surcharges & taxes.
In June it's currently £768: £401 + £367 surcharge & taxes.

Only until 8th February? Better be quick off the mark.

I saw on Expedia yesterday, 10 nights in the rio and flights for £1050 or something. That's start the day before the main which seems very reasonable?

Yeah, that's not bad, even with the resort fees to be added.

Sale has brought the upper class fares down. Can get £2,250 ish return early June. That's close to as good as you'll get for cash, and the miles system isn't as lovely as it used to be.
Might use my One Time on a Saturday acca.
The lounge in Manchester isn't a patch on Gatters fwiw.

Glad I managed to take advantage of some anomaly in their first sale after Vegas.

Marky!
Bit of help please? Me and Mr Pie are heading out 20th April for 4 nights.
Just got a royal swimming from the best rates team at PH saying they won't match my claim because it's shown in GBP.
Been looking for anything vaguely a deal but I'm struggling. Middle of the road hotels, PH, Linq, Paris, Mirage?

You want a room each, or sharing?
I'll have a look in a minute.

Well, ebookers/booking.com are very expensive.
Get on

5* for less than some of the lower rate ones elsewhere.

Bella Suite @ Venetian for £444 looks to be the best deal going.
Just make sure they put you in the main tower, and not the Venezia.
