The money's starting to come in for Watford - 12/1 from 18/1 (outright) and 4/1 from 13/2 for promotion with B365   ....    still some 14 & 16/1 about - as low as 10/1 with Corals.

I think they've finally cottoned on to the recent signings,

Thanks

we have a promotion bet on at 8-1

Not sure why Ladbrokes want to go 6-1 Cay Dancer in the 3.05 Newbury tomorrow.

The general 7-2 looks right to me.

£30 win ta.

May as well take what we can get 10-1 Zac Brown (Lads) in the 7.30 at Ponte as well.

They are out of line but can't claim this as a plopable, they've just priced the race up differently to everyone else.

7/1 the field and only ten runners. Incred.

see there is an average of 3+ strokes between the morning and afternoon rounds today its making adam scotts round look good

and with those out in the afternoon out in the rain tomorrow morning really is starting too look like the draw was important for many

Just out of interest, what's the best way to make money out of Rory McIlroy's inevitable sophomore slump in the second round tomorrow?

Sigh - I'll stop putting the kiss of death on it.

Stop it, you two.

Try this, never fails.

I fancy India to lose 3 quick wickets now.
amateurish attempt tony

I fancy England to skittle India out for under 300

300?

I'd double our bet on India if they could eke out 300.

dont thank me yet still got 20 to go

Isn't Hulkenberg or Perez to podium a better bet?

the rest of the field is slowed to some extent or another without FRIC, Force India is not too far off the pace of the field ex Mercedes anyway and can always go to one stop strategies if no FRIC doesn't make too much difference?

and we can get 16-1/25-1 whichever you pick?

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/german-grand-prix/podium-finish

a touch more bang for your buck than a £1 at 3-1 top six...?

--

even though the Mercs should still win, why is it 4/7 2/1 when they will be disproportionately affected by the mid season rule change?

surely neither are any value whatsoever, priced off a set of  rules that no longer exist, they've changed

Funny you should say that, I did consider suggesting Hulkenberg or Perez for a podium. It's definitely a possibility. Williams and Force India should be pretty even around this track, and I was going to wait until when Force India have a clear advantage (at Hungary for instance) to suggest a podium purely to not take too much risk.

So yeah, you could place a little money on either of them to get the podium, but the top six bet is obviously the safer option - and still a good price. As for which driver to get the podium, it's a toss up between the two really. Hulkenberg is better in qualifying and at his home track, Perez is better in the race and better at conserving the tyres. Could go either way. My recommendation is still top six for Perez however.

I see what you're saying about Mercedes, but they're quite clearly going to finish 1-2 if they don't have a reliability problem so I'm not sure their price in comparison with the rest of the field really matters. Their price difference in comparison to each other is way too big however, 2-1 is too high on Rosberg (if it was a 2-car race) compared to Hamilton's best of 7/10. Rosberg is at his home track too, 2-1 is definitely back-able.

You could back Jordan Speith at 9/4 in the 3 ball matchbet in McIlroy's group tomorrow?

Rain per se is no great hardship for the players, more so for the caddies.

However if the rain is in tandem with 20mph winds things can get tricky.

I would suggest lay Rory, u have many more options in your favour then, inc draws.

Edit. Just noticed it was Rick...Ignore me!!!

MLB ‏@MLB

@Orioles Power surge throughout the lineup helped make the Baltimore Orioles the beasts of the AL East in the 1st half

We have £50 at 10.5-1, and they are 4 games clear of the division during the All Star break
