Nice to see Jimmy 'not so much a whirlwind now' white finally get a Crucible Title....
Jimmy White: Snooker legend triumphs at the Crucible (World Seniors Event) - at last
That was great to see wasn't it, 5-3 in the final flattered Morgan too. Deffo think Seniors snooker would get decent viewing figures on Eurosport if they picked it up.

I'd definitely watch some of that. Take me back to my childhood

Was flicking through the channels and caught some of the Hendry Drago game.
John Virgo MC, looking frail. Drago has lost a lot of weight following his health scare.
Like watching snooker in the 80s, bit more safety, few more misses and mistakes

What channels is it on? Or was it just a one off for the worlds?

It was on Sky Channel 422, known variously as "FreeSports" & "FreeNation".

He sounds like those poker players who say they have to play at higher stakes because low stakes players are bad players!

Ronnie being a prick as usual, if he doesn't like the format/venue he doesn't have to attend. Not like he goes to many tournaments anyway.

Just moaning about the Engliish open facilities in a leisure centre. FWIW i think he has a point because Hearn doesn't treat the top 16 in darts in this manner. At the UK open (FA cup of darts) the top 16 don't play until the final 32 and the guessers and qualifiers have to battle it out on the floor to get through to the last 32 before the big boys enter. He does seem to run darts and snooker iin a different manner.

Fair enough but he doesn't need to slag his opponent off.

"When you're playing people who are just happy to be there, it's their big occasion and they just go out and smash the balls all over the place, there's no point trying to play the right shot.
"Every time you do, they just play the wrong shot. Whatever game plan you've got, they just totally throw it out of the window with one shot.
"It's like following a driver who doesn't really know what they're doing. You're just trying to second-guess it and you end up having a crash yourself."
