Thick and fast!
Neil Channing just squeezed out Vince Calenti and Tony Cascarino out of a pot after Vince raised to 3.2k and Tony flat-called before Channing moved in for about 17k.
Charles Ihle has doubled through Chicken Joe with A-9 vs K-J on a 9-3-2-2-9 board, all the money in on the flop.
Nik Persaud just won a huge pot knocking out the person next to him, he showed down T-9 on a 3-Q-J-K-2 board whilst his opponent mucked and left the table.

Really sorry but the 30k for Jen's stack was a mistype, she only had 10 big blinds going back after this last break. She just found her spot with 55 and was called by 88. The cruelty of this game pounced again and let Jen hit a 5 on the flop but an 8 on the turn to end it all. She still grinded awesomely and kept her head the whole time.

very cruel... If the board was not too dangerous, very hard to know that you've not the best hand with a set...

3pm once more. Rupert has added to his stack, knocking out another player with Jacks against Ace Queen. Looks to have about 140k now. Easier than the sunday donkaments... Marc Goodwin has doubled through Anthony Huges with vs Flop: Marc Goodwin gets up. Turn: Marc Goodwin sits down. Pete Linton is running bad, he was just forced to chop a pot with K-J vs Chicken Joe's K-T on a K-3-3 board after the turn brought another 3, but not only that, Nick Hicks has driven home but with all of Pete's spare clothes still in the car...

Red is out. LOL nonupdatereaderments. Ben Vinson went out in the last hand of the night with into . Jerome Bradpiece managed to doubleup with his last hand of the night, vs . He had the face of a mischevious child that had got away with it afterwards. Asy Ho doubles up with Ace King against Charles Ihle's Eights catching a King on the turn. Phew, it got busy at the end there! Full chip counts and players to appear later.

Maria is just writing up the last couple of hands, but it looks as though Rupert Elder ('Rupert' on blonde) is going to be the chip leader going into Day 2.

Big hand right at the end involving Nik Persaud, Marc Goodwin & Jim Bedson. Goodwin made it 3,600 UTG +1 and was called instantly by his neighbour Persaud. It passes round to Bedson in the small blind who moves all in. It is 8,800 more for Marc & Nik to call. Marc declares he is all in and Persaud asks for a count of exactly how much Goodwin has left.... After mumbles from Goodwin that perhaps Nik is trying to waste time, Nik says he is serious and wants to know who much. The dealer says 25,400 total to Nik to call. Marc then puts the clock on Nick and with 4 secs to spare, Persaud whispers "passsss" and turns over 10's. We see the hands and not what Persaud wanted to see: Goodwin Bedson The board came King high and nothing else, Persaud gets away although he would have had the side pot of 16,600 from Goodwin. As it stands Bedson doubled up and Goodwin still in but a little bit lighter in chips on 17k.
