The tournament is totally fine as it is and are the satillites excessive? I don't think so.
Any clue why they took the 25/50 level out? I asked the dealer and it went in through one ear and straight out the other...

Long time reader first time poster...
Stayed at the deepstack till about 4am last night when i had to leave in order to make it to mcdonalds before they switched to breakfeast... Was very impressed by Bingham who was dominating the table for long periods of the final table! Also big shout out to d2d for such a good event and tighty and jonathon for there efforts and still good company late into the night!
My opionions on the structure i was a fan of coming back Monday for the final table this could start at 6/7 and then last for 5/6 hours it means on sunday night they could finish at 11 say and if people did have to work and were in the local (ish) area they could still manage it. If youve come from further afield i would imagine you might want to book monday of work anyway!

Sorry, but for £560 you want plenty of play and I don't feel that 30k is too much at all. Just perfect.

George was saying the 25/50 level is not needed with a 30k starting stack.

300BB is too many chips to begin with - 200BB at an absolute max, 150BB better (7.5k starting at 25/50).
Get the nit crunch happening a couple of hours earlier.
12.30am is no time to be starting the final table of a tourney with £86k up top and no possible deal to mitigate mistakes made due to sleepiness.

imo, start with 20k at 50/100, have smaller increases later on (ie have a 3500/7000 levels etc) and slightly bigger antes. No rolling blinds back.

I got pretty deep and here are my thoughts.
It's damn near perfect. They just got a lot more re-entries and punters than they expected. I grinded a short stack for 7 hours and it was fine. The chips are there to be had if you want em. Just look at Mr Bingham he just helped himself to everyone's including mine. It suits all different styles of play.
I would like to see 2500/5000 500 level as my M went from over 10 to under 7 when it went to 3/6k from 2/4k but if I had 300k would I have cared? Prob not tbh.
More of the same please Simon.

Basically what Trigg said but with a multiplying factor of 4.
Would be perfect in my opinion. It definitely plays way too deep early on so nobody gets knocked out until about level 5.
