Jimmy Hill

Got Alzheimers

Was a really good feature on him on BBC local south east news last night (well with his wife actually)

He is in a home and does not recognise anybody e.t.c

If you meant another Jimmy Hill then apologies!

John Law passed away this morning?

No?

That is absolutely terrible news.

I don't have Facebook, but I'd be keen to hear more as to the circumstances, & pass on my condolescences to his family.

RIP John, a truly lovely man.

Wow, that is so sad.

I bluffed off an above average stack to him in a big DTD 500 deepstack. He never forgot me, and we laughed alot about it afterwards.

Always had a smile, always had a nice word to say. RIP.

That's very sad to hear.

He did, almost literally, everything in football. I doubt any man in football has held the number of roles he held, &, for the most part, he was a force for good.

Frankie Knight.

That bloke that used to kiss everyone smack on the chops given half a chance.

Not suggesting that they've run off together..

Frankie Knight is one on the old guard. He does this thing where he plays poker standing sideways on to the table, lifting the corner of his cards nonchalantly with one hand whilst regaling his fellow players with quality gambling stories.

He never struck me as being particularly well breached, but he didn't let that stop him from disappearing to Vegas for months at a time.

I'd be interested to know how he's doing.

I may be wrong but I believe Frankie upped sticks and moved to Thailand, the Phillipinnes or somewhere similar.

Greg "The Axxeman" Winters.

Strange fellow.

Just did a search for his posts on here and it seems like he's "done a Keys" and deleted everything he ever posted.

His only posts that seem to remain are ones that have been quoted by other posters.

Impressive HM listing though

Arbboy?

Got annoyed over an argument on the LFC thread when someone called him a troll.

Hasn't posted since.
