The importance of making the correct decision for the correct reasons far outweighs the result or even equity of the situation. yh you should defo have called, remember you are against every possible hand, he can have 92off T3off K4off if he's found AJ/AQ/AK or TT JJ QQ KK AA (the only hands that have you in trouble) as opposed to just having T8offsuit and you being a huge favorite then you're very unlucky.

Most of the time, ofc he'll have 2 live cards which usually gives him a 1 in 3 chance of beating you, but with a short stack like yours the oppurtunity to get your money in so well wont come around all that often, and if it does you might not have enough chips by then for it to be worth it.
