After event #5 the top of the table looks like this:

dino1980   5
Boba Fett   4
buffyslayer1   3
Ice Shade   3
The Camel   3
Curlarge   3
George2Loose   3
pokerfan   3
Ricardov83   3
MLHMLH   3
tikay   3

dino1980 has been helped by a final table from George Danzer (to my uneducated eye, one of the classier guys in poker).

Not sure about the scarf though.

George is a fantastic guy, & a big friend of Jen Mason. Proper class act, him.

I note I am now right on the heels of the leaders. Think "Ruler of the World" approaching the final furlong.

I remember meeting George at the Vic years ago when he was railing his travelling buddy Jan Heitmann, another very nice guy and great player too. He and John Kabbaj actually chopped the comp up with El Blondie nicking 3rd spot too.

Remember it well, Jan is a terrific guy, too.

Jen Mason Updated that Tourney, & I was there, but I can't recall why.

That must have been Poker 425, the Wm Hill TV Channel.

Apologies to Mere, we'd better stop this or we'll be in trouble.

Funnily enough I was just thinking about Mr Deck the other day.

How did that whole "How many chips has Woody Deck" thing get started?

No idea Keith. Like so many things on blonde, I just nodded, smiled knowingly, & maybe added a "+1", as if I knew the whole deal.

>< Woody & all that.
