Title: 45man S&G FT spot Post by: jezza777 on June 21, 2013, 08:55:58 PM Is this a standard shove here? Bit rusty at the moment..

You are paying an ICM tax if you do shove and get called being the 2 biggest stacks.
What do we know about this guy, is this his standard open, has he walked you before, r/f before etc. Title: Re: 45man S&G FT spot Post by: mondatoo on June 21, 2013, 09:20:04 PM I'd need a good read to not just fold here.
Title: Re: 45man S&G FT spot Post by: jezza777 on June 21, 2013, 09:24:01 PM He has limp folded before -when we were a bit deeper. He has also raise folded to me. I thought given the current chip distribution he has to call really really tight so a shove was pretty standard. I didn't put much thought into it in game it just seemed the correct play. I got called by a part of his range that I definitely thought I would have folded out.

Your notes on him would suggest he should have a green sticker, don't expect them to care, or even know what ICM is.
