Over 2 million mate...... Not sure he is a ***** tho.  Most people never get the full facts to a story and if they did opinions may change. Have you seen the Feldman thread and Zimbler. I like Paul and from what I saw on the premier league was not keen on Feldman. After seeing the charity stuff and the court transcript the balance starts to tip the other way.

There are not many people loved by everybody..... Frankie and Princess Diana are 2 exceptions

Unfortunately being highly ranked on P5's doesn't necessarily mean big profits, especially when you play a good amount of volume like Marc does...

For instance I reached my highest ranking ever a couple of weeks ago and was still in $5K of makeup or so...

as far as online poker tournaments go, there aren't many players who've made more money in more impressive a fashion than Marc over the past 18months.

This doesn't mean anything though i context of this thread.

If you owe money... you pay it.  If that means you have a reduced grind.. or you have to sat in to a few of them on the cheap.. then that's your  problem for owing money.  It isn't the other person's problem.  There are always going to be reasons why you "need it" - but the money belongs to someone else, not you.

i dont understand this statement either

"and needed money to grind himself/wcoop etc."

i would hardly call the above life essentials myself, isnt the wcoop an expensive set of buy ins? i can understand him needing to play for income but............

Assuming the statement is true, and he is grinding off his own coin, then surely you just lose a couple of $1000 buyin tournaments.  There are plenty of other tournaments and they'll be another WCOOP/SCOOP/FCOOP/GSOP along before you know it.

I have dropped the bigger buyins and higher variance tournaments numerous times when the bankroll has got light.  It just seems standard

Marc isn't the only one here that has me scratching my head on this.
