How did the whole world manage to look the other way for so long?

How did the whole world manage to look the other way for so long?

Zimbabwe isn't the only country. We are still looking the other way.

After his successful coup against the long-serving, but deeply unpopular leader, I understand Major General Moyo has been contacted by a group of Arsenal fans.

No oil reserves so there's no need to give the people some Western style freedom.

Plenty of oil reserves in Nigeria and it's still a poor corrupt shithole.

Mugabe looking over his shoulder.......sad thing is the most likely replacement is probably another dictator.

‘Sometimes I wonder, Will god ever forgive us for what we've done to each other? Then I look around and I realize, God left this place a long time ago’

Leonardo Di Caprio- Blood Diamond. A lot of truth in that.

I can't help wondering how much money Mugabe and Lady Gaga have got stashed away in the pension fund.

Mugabe is possibly the Colin Wanker of African tyrants as his name is E Ba Gum backwards.

He's refusing to go.

Unless he has managed to get the Army back on side, things could get very messy, very quickly.

He needs to get out of Zimbabwe quickly, before the lynch mobs get to him.

Increasingly, it looks like Mugabe has got the Army Generals onside, presumably with the promise of fat pensions.

Impeachment is not a quick process, so this could run for a while yet.

My nee favourite fact about Robert Mugabe: in 2000, Mugabe's 13th year as President, he won the jackpot in the Zimbabwean National Lottery draw.

I love the guy jubilantly making the crocodile teeth mime with his hands during the celebrations on Ch4 News.

Will "The Crocodile" actually be any better or is he simply less bad?
