Bloody hell, went looking for a photo of Rod & found this.
Did that romance not finally start at a Blonde Bash at DTD? The one Jen won.
Wins a poker comp and ends up with one of the railbirds?
Who does she think she is? Daniel flipping Craig?

...and this beauty. This was EPT Deauville. Flushy looks so young there.
Jen won her seat in that Blue Square promo, "Ten of the Best" or whatever. She got busted on the bubble by Johnny "Texas" Hewston.
Must admit my respect for Jen went up massively when she palyed that pot on the bubble.
I assumed that cashing would mean a lot to her financially, but she played to win. Good for her I thought.

Fair play to Rod, not many blokes get to be a groupie at the exact moment their idol wins some dosh.

Not a Sky Poker tournament as such, no, it's run by the Latin Poker Series, and Sky Poker have sent 16 qualifiers over to play it, and they all have a +1, too. So I am sort of blogging, updating, wet nursing, all sorts. Not easy, let me tell you.
I will still be here Saturday, yes, am not going home until Monday, by which time, fingers crossed, Air France will have found my luggage.
Be great to see you, am at the Hard Rock Resport. Warn you though, the place is huge, bit of a nightmare to find anyone, it must be like looking for a specific sheep in Norfolk.

I do hope your plum jacket is not lost in transit as that would be hard to replace.
Have a nice time.

Tribeca was probably poo, but it seems to have gained status in our memories of the best poker software ever, think we all played on Blue Square? Blue Square are no more, swallowed up by Betfair I think. Jonathan Raab used to run it as I recall. Tribeca was sold to I-Poker I believe, Ugh.
Multi table tournaments with a hard coded max payout of 27 players, because they never thought the fields would get bigger than a couple of hundred. Bubble time used to be great fun - none of this 1.2x buy-in nonsense for a min cash in those days!
Not seen Rod or Jen in a long time but many good memories of those days, including some messy nights staying in the flat him and Flushy had in the marina.
