Here's a cash game hand...1/2 NL shorthanded on pokerstars...the opposite player is a pretty agressive player, but he just recently joined the table ( 10 or 15 hands ago.. )..here's what happened...

theclevermin: calls $20
s_caddis: folds
Ghislain3: calls $20
*** FLOP *** [two spades ]
Ghislain3: folds
Zanjong: checks
Ghislain3 leaves the table
theclevermin: checks

Zanjong: bets $48
theclevermin: calls $48
*** RIVER *** [two spades ] []
razzinu joins the table at seat #4
Zanjong: bets $167 and is all-in

here u are the questions :

1) do you call preflop here? ( i think i made a loose call ...but I AM loose!  Cheesy ...but want to hear opinions )

2) do you bet the flop after he checks?

3) what do you think the guy has?
and
4) DO YOU CALL?

i'll tell you later what i did and what i think...( and thought )

How have you been playing for the last 15 hands, since the foe joined the table?

No, yes, overpair, no.

I am going to have to go with totalise here

1) do you call preflop here? ( i think i made a loose call ...but I AM loose!   ...but want to hear opinions ) If you're loose then fine I am not so I won't.

2) do you bet the flop after he checks? yes..every single time

3) what do you think the guy has?  AJ KJ sooted are possible but overpair more likely. I think he was hoping to checkraise the flop.
and
4) DO YOU CALL? not in a million years. you can only call this if you know where you are in the hand and you effectively don't. you could have found this out by raising the flop, but as you didn't I think you should fold here.

Well what do you think his opinion of you was? Had you had a good run of cards in the last 15 hands and been raising a lot? Had you had nothing and this was your first hand you had played since he'd been on the table? Had you bet lots of flops?

Ok...here's the answer...and thanks a lot for the opinions...now i know i was a bit lucky , maybe  Cheesy

I've been stealing quite a lot of pots since  he joined the table and i dont think i showed a hand...sometime i had it, sometime i didnt...anyway

when he raised preflop he may have had a lot of hands...i saw him raising with 45 suited...and the raise was a bit too big in my opinion..so i called, wishing to hit the flop...

the flop comes not bad for me..and he checks...at this point i think he may have JJ and he's slowplaying...he's pretty capable of doing this...

but on the turn he bets a lot ...making me think he may not want a call..and i call...

the river is a J...at this point i think JJ is pretty improbable ( dont know if its correct...sorry for my english  Cool ) ..i start to think he's bluffing.....i take all the 60 seconds i got and make the call...and cross my fingers....

he shows..

bye!
