My mate was on the train home and bumped into Warwick Davis (Willow) who was kind enough to let him take a selfie together. Got me thinking of this thread, so buuuuuuump.

Surely someone has a new story or two over the last year?

This year I had to interview Daniel Negraneau over the phone. I was at home, he was in Dublin

I was asking questions and shorthand transcribing the answers, while another tab was on twitter

Mid interview he tweeted that because his luggage had not arrived from the states and his clothes he had travelled in were in laundry that he was doing a media interview over the phone naked

I think I managed two more minutes before making my excuses.

Why not,

I was given a bottle of Champange from Stephen Hendry, saw Danielle Westbrook naked, made Hugh Lloyds day when i identified him from his role in " Lollipop loves Mr mole",  met Andy Williams made even better when my mate thought he know who he was  sang to him " its not unusual", Andy 5 foot nought my mate 6 foot 5, was dropped to size with one glare and " That was Tom Jones" comment.

Steve

More info required on that one  Wink

Better late than never, was delivering some clothes to her house hold her husband Kevin invited me in to wait in the hall, she comes down stairs naked and give me  a free view.

I worked in a pretty famous hotel during my twenties and met loads of celebs. Ronald Reagan, Dolly Parton and loads of bands playing Glastonbury. I remember getting plastered with The Beautiful South one night which was fun.

Imagine this though. Dom Jolly stayed for Christmas with his Mrs and toddler and guess who's job it was to be Father Christmas? Yep. Yours Truly.

I was stood outside his massive suite stinking of booze from a mental Christmas Eve bender just shitting my pants. It was the longest ten minutes of my life.

Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence turned up for lunch and ended up staying the night. I showed them to their room and from the moment the lift door closed they just sucked each other's face off right in front of me. What a pair of sluts. He was dead six months later.

When my and the wife flew to newyork for our honeymoon, Coleen whatserface (now rooney) was on the same flight on the way to get her wedding dress

once worked security at a V festival, got insulted by the badly drawn boy chap in front of the crowd, and caught one of the sugarbabes at the bottom of the stage ramp when she tripped

was at RAF Odiham when Angelina Jolie was filming the chinook helicopter scene for tombraider 2

served Steve Cram a pint or two when working in a bar in Doncaster

i'm sure i have many more of the above if i think about it

Flew business class back from Vegas last year (GIQ)

Also in that section of about 30 people were Patrick Antonius and Adrian Newey (one for the F1 fans)

Also on the flight was Max Pescatori, but I think he was further back...

Last year, I walked past Ray Davies at Dublin airport. Not sure whether he counts as B list. Maybe B+

Ya. Ray Davies is a bit of a legend. He was of course married to Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. I played a lot of snooker with Martin Chambers who was their drummer. I was just a kid, maybe 12 years old till about 16 and only found out who he was years later.

I think he still lives in Bath. He had these massive ginger sideburns and was a lovely bloke too.
