Breaking Bad? Load of crap.

What didn't you like about it?

For the more discerning viewer (I exclude you from that category), we find that TV series shot in 35mm film to be, if you will excuse my technical language, a bit naff.

To be fair, I doubt you even noticed it is primarily shot in 35mm.

I can only assume that you didn't take the 180 degree rule and the fact that the Db was +7 into account?

BTW- do you know of who really can write on here?

Go on, ask me.

There are a goodly few, but I guess I'd better play along with your rather tiresome game.

Of who can really write on here, Tom?

By no means an exhaustive list, here are four to be going on with.

Andrew T.
Tal.
TightEnd.
Ralph.

I nominate an addition to that non-exhaustive list - MANTIS.

A proper pain in the arse at times, though usually tongue in cheek, but he specialise in analogies. Puts a lot of thought and effort into his posts, too.

Often disagreeable (his posts) but one of those people who's posts are always a must-read.

Good shout. Has his opinion and everyone is entitled to it. Nails his colours to the mast with his tongue secreted in his cheek. Enjoys taking the opposing view and is never middle of the road. (unlike the cenotaph).

What do you reckon to my new step? Is it rustic enough for you?

Kizzy likes it.

I suppose it's ok if you like that sort of thing, there is definitely some mileage in the "amateur" look of it.

To be fair, Kizzy would like anything which does not involve her risking paws & limbs on a cattle-grid every time she ventures in or out.

Good effort overall, I rate it as 4/10.

I could do one round your gaff. Overnight, without telling you. As a surprise.

Is it an age thing having to cushion your knee?

I guess so. It still hurt to kneel on concrete all day when I was young, but back then I was too daft to go and get a cushion.

This morning my arms neck and back are aching, and the skin on my hands, which is normally quite thick and leathery, has been exfoliated by the cement to such an extent that it is now as thin as tissue paper.

I just took my bowl of hot porridge out of the microwave and almost threw it through the kitchen window.

Is it like a mexican wave?

It's a device that allows you to cook a half hour meal in 2 minutes.

I have a microwave bed too. I can have a night of unbridled passion in less than 90 seconds.

Never had a microwave

Wife can't cook, won't try to cook now, she reckons she would have a go if i threw less work at her but then i would have to employ a paper pusher so will stick to Waitrose and Marks meals at least you know it will be edible.

90 seconds!!  think you need to get a new stop watch

End of May and no Cuckoo again this year, sad, sigh

Nope. No cuckoo here either.

How do you heat your Waitrose / Marks meals?

Have you considered adopting a mature lodger? Perhaps someone who has a microwave and is willing to travel .
