The crowd watching from the stands has not reduced at all, & includes Greg Raymer, Willie Tann (& Mrs Tann), & Rolf Slotboom. By the way, at the "Welcome Cocktail Party" earlier in the week, Greg Raymer was called up on to the stage by his sponsors PokerStars to deliver a little speech. He looked the bizz in a well-cut black suit & white shirt, but the open toed sandals betrayed his nationality.....

Hi Rolandinho, I've been doing these Live Updates all week & thought nobody was ever gonna ask that question....
But now you've asked.....The TV programme - "Poker 425" - first airs at 11pm this Wednesday, and is repeated every night, same time, same place. We shall be recording it on Wednesday afternoon. And we are hoping to take a film crew to Dublin for the Irish Open, so maybe we'll get some nice stuff there, too, for the following week's show.

We have just had our first all-in of the heads-up battle. The chips had been gradually moving in Brandon's direction, when suddenly, Brandon, for the very first time, says "all-in". Rob called in a trice. Flop was TT3. Brandon had 3-4 (two pair), Rob had T-8 (top set).

As soon as the cards were on their back, Brandon realised he'd walked into a trap, & left his seat, walking away from the table in disgust.

So, this time the old guard prevailed. He was the selection of many, & his guile got him through in the end. It really seemed to be that Rob was setting Brandon up from some way out, & sprung the trap twice in the last 3 hands, each time with 2 pair.
But well done to both of them.

Just spoke to Simon Trumper, who told me he had shared a table with Rob last week in Vienna. Rob had told him that he was having the worst run of "form" in his poker career.
And I have been joined by Willike Tann, who says Rob said exactly the same thing to him.
Even better, Rob told Simon Trumper that Simon had said "dont worry, it will change soon". Too right it did!
