May Bank Holiday weekend 5th-7th of May Sat 5th May 2:00 pm Day 1a Sun 6th May 2:00 pm Day 1b Mon 7th May 2:00 pm Day 2 Day1 late reg to 9pm 1 re-entry per each Day 1 The monthly 500 Deepstack was launched at the beginning of 2012 in replace of the signature 300 Deepstack, which had been running each month since February 2008. In its first month the 500 Deepstack attracted 433 entries generating a £216,500 prize pool and a top prize of over £61,000! With 30,000 chips, double the starting stack of its predecessor, and an increased prizepool, there's no wonder this event continues to be the most popular event each month. Just another note to add: The May 500 Deepstack will start on the Saturday rather than the Friday as it is bank holiday weekend, and the final will therefore be on the Monday! As Tighty says the satellites will start on Monday and we have 4 seats guaranteed a night!! With the addition of a 10 Late Bird to join the 6pm Early Bird (moved forward from 6.30pm). Cheers Nicola You don't need to have an explicit token system to make this work, the site already uses tokens called euros for all buyins. Just set up regular tournaments that pay out cash prizes in a satellite structure. People can then use the cash to buy in to the level above. If they don't then they'll play other stuff, maybe more of the same sats, maybe cash, a few people might even just cash it out, but just from having that as a possibility participation will go up at all levels and more than counter any leakage imo. The main reason for us only running online MEGA SATS up until Wednesday is so that we can guarantee so many seats live at the club at the end of the week. We can't compete online against the club for the same tournament as we will be setting ourselves up for overlays in both. We run online satellite throughout the month however the club satellites only run during the week leading up to the event therefore we continue these until the event. He has won every monte Carlo and deepstack seat since Jan 2010 (except one which he was not allowed to play). The FA CUP has been disastrous for our £500 Deepstack guaranteed at £200,000, to break even we need 444 entries, so far on Day 1a we have only 144, late reg is until 9pm so will probably end up with re entries around 160 - 170 but that still means tomorrow will have to exceed expectations or we will end up with a huge overlay!!! Tonight we also have a 15 seat guaranteed Mega Satellite int...o day 1b, due to the FA CUP i have pushed back the start time to 8.30pm with late reg till 11.10pm. Last night we had to add £900 so tonight could be even better value! All we can hope is that we get a huge turnout tomorrow, ideally need at least 200 players in addition to the 65 qualifers, sure the value hunters will be watching to see what we start with then start driving here for the overlay which will help reduce it. We just started Day 1b with 115 players, i can predict that the overlay will be between £35,000 - £50,000 !!!!! You have until 9pm to enter and if we are going to lose this sort of money would rather it goes to players tthat have supported us over the last 4 years so tell all your mates and come and take advantage of this rare scheduling disaster. We definitely got something wrong whether it was the guarantee, the fact that the FA CUP was yesterday or having Day1b on a Sunday bank holiday, anyway, too late to do anything now so come and get it.
