Here is a new chat with
Jakally
Hi Neil,
How long have you been playing poker ?
Just over 3 years I think. I had met TK a few times and someone directed me to a poker show he was on.
Thought it was the dullest thing I had ever seen, but being a competitive soul got gripped by the challenge of this sodding game.
Which sites do you play on
Started on PokerRoom as my only computer was my works lappy, and I didn't want to download anything onto it (you could play pokerroom through your browser at the time).
Got accounts with most sites but play most on Party and Sky.
(Every time Kev sends out a guilt-trip message I promise myself I will play on Blonde a bit more, but never stick to it).
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos
DTD is only just over half an hour away from me so try and get there once a week.
Had any big wins this year
I nearly won a Blonde t-shirt but the software crashed when I was leading the race.................gutted!!
Do you play every day
Most days.
Where did you go on holiday this year
Gran Canaria for a week recently, and a golfing trip to Portugal earlier in the year.
How many miles a week do you drive
About 200.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro
I've got a few favourite pro's - but none of them play poker AFAIK.
Ever played a Top Poker Pro, like Roland De Wolfe, or Barry Neville
Played with a few - usually very briefly.
Whats your favorite Sausage, Cumberland, Irish, Spicy, or pork and apple
Don't really do sausage much, but I love Black Pudding - does that count?
BTW loving the work.
Thought you were as mad as a box of frogs when you started posting (you probably are) but the stuff you put up adds a lot to BP.
Thanks Mr. Jakally (croak croak, ribbit ribbit)

There are just 27 players left in the World Series of Poker in Vegas.
The 5,619 starters who each paid $10,000 to enter the World Championship Hold'em Tournament at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas have been whittled down to 27 players. All of these will take home at least $304,680, which is what the 27th player who goes out with.
However John McCrane, a London black cab-driver who has been playing for just eight months and who qualified online, is clinging on in 25th place.
Not only has no English player ever won The Big One but none has ever even made it to the final table. McCrane, therefore, is in with a strong chance of creating history for England.

Well I think it's McGrane, not McCrane.
I was tableside at that WSOP, railing John. He qualified on Wm Hill, & I was doing Poker 425 for Wm Hill at the time. (dullest thing ever seen, apparently, sigh).
It was a wonderful week, John, his wife, & beautifully-mannered kids, & myself, hung together, dined, played, chatted, & we became great friends, & remain so to this day. A really genuine, & lovely man. Shiny head, mind.
He is still a Taxi-Driver to this day, owns his own Black-Cab. Netted $300,000 or somesuch at the WSOP, & it all went on the family, & a better house.

And now another young fella from Leeds
SovietSong
How long have you been playing poker ?
I started in around 2003 after reading an article by Joe Beavers in FHM, played abit online and then at the local Napoleons. Wish I'd known how much the game would change as poker back then was sooooo easy, obv I had no bankroll management and every decent win went on the horses. [ ] Degenerate
Which sites do you play on
I started on UKpoker then moved onto the best cardroom of all time Tribecca, when that went I joined most online rooms. Never have found a new 'home', mostly play on stars at the moment. Trying to grind the sng's.
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos
I do play at the Casino now and then, went to Grosvenor leeds on friday after a night on the town. I was absolutely fooooooked and kept calling a bald bloke on my table Peter Ebdon, he didnt like it that much but had to deal with it when i shoved it in his eye with top two pair busting his smaller two pair.
Had any big wins this year Nothing major, few near misses.
Do you play every day I play whenever I can, as i work full time dont really get that much time.
Where did you go on holiday this year
I went to Rhodes with the missus, it was brilliant. Checked blonde most days as i was away during the Fergus8 saga!
How many miles a week do you drive
Just got a new car (new to me), iIm embarrassed to say its a Mondeo, i don't drive that much at the moment as i can walk to work, but moving soon so then i will be doing about 200 miles a week.
Do you prefer on line or Live I do better live but online is more convenient.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro Crazy Horse, gotta love the guy.
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish
Nobody worth mentioning really, busted one of the Full Tilt pros on a micro stakes cash game once but can't remember his name.
Whats your favorite Sausage; Cumberland, Irish, Spicy or Pork and Apple
Cumberland FTW
Does your other half play poker
Nah, she hates me playing I think as she knows she is No.2! lol
Thanks your a young star who will go far

Now A nice chap from Witney(where they make Hobgoblin Ale)
Rio Rodent
How long have you been playing poker?
5 years'ish... although nothing to do with LNP! I find most UK produced poker shows as dull as ditch-water.
Which sites do you play on? blondepoker, Full Tilt, Virgin
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos? When the opportunity arises.
Had any big wins this year? Took down the big tourney at 'The Pigeons' last week.
Do you play every day? Pretty much.
Where did you go on holiday this year? Vegas
Do you prefer online or Live? They both have their merits.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro? Don't know any well enough to form an opinion.
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish?
Not sure what you mean by "like Aces or Devilfish"? However, I have shared a live table with...
Isaac Galazan ($2500 Short-Handed bracelet, WSOP 2005)
O'Neil Longson (multiple WSOP bracelets)
Men 'The Master' Nguyen
Hung La (2 final tables, WPT Season 3)
Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson
Dave 'El Blondie' Colclough
Lucy Rokach
Alan Vinnicombe
Simon Trumper
Tikay
Flushy
and that nice young lad Chilli
and likely a few more that I didn't recognize??
Whats your favorite Sausage; Cumberland, Irish, Spicy or Pork and Apple? Whichever one has tomato ketchup on it.
Does your other half play poker? Yes.
Can I print this on the Blonde web site?
Well, if I say no then I've just wasted 20 mins!! So I guess that's a yes.
Good answers particularly the sausage answer
