Any other fans of any other clubs got any reads on how their team is shaping up? Always interested in others opinions in the championship.

Why don't you start a Championship thread.
Could be useful.

I'm not bothered, i just thought it would be good to have a championship thread as a minority of people may not check the Leeds thread

Leeds at Tavistock. Kenny, Lees, Crainie, Pearce, Drury, Snodgrass, Brown, Green, White, McCormack, Becchio #lufc
Tonights 1st half team a first choice x1 currently.
Looks like a comfortable 10th placed championship team to me.
How would you compare it to
Kusczack, Bruno, Greer, El Abd, Bridge, Lua Lua, Vicente, Sparrow, Bridcutt, Buckley, Barnes
El Abd a centre back now? What happened to Dunk?
I'd say fairly similar although with a younger and slightly more creative side you have more scope.
Saying that, we are going to bring in more players.
I expect Brighton to make the playoffs, they played Reading off the park despite losing towards the end of last season, I had a stream and was so impressed. Bridge seems a bit of a dodgy signing but I like Bruno.
We played most teams off the park at home, but we were probably THE worst away team in the whole division, our style doesn't come off.
Bridge got injured in the warm up in our first friendly and still hasn't played. El Abd always been a CB, got player of year when we won league 1, Poyet also said he is by far our best defender. Dunk is okay but you need a battler, he is same player as Greer and has a court case hanging over his head. Disappointing to see Leeds / Brighton been moved to a Friday night again. Any of you going down for it?
You don't wanna do what Leicester did though and bring in a whole new 11. I actually think 14 teams are evenly matched, most exciting champ season to come yet! Then you have the 3 relegated teams who have a lot of quality still, and a handful of awful teams (Pboro, Barnsley, Bristol City).
Varney is a deeeece player but I think that is going to be the end of McCormack possibly? A good replacement for McCormack in my opinion would be Mackie, really like him, most people think hes shit tho!

What's up with paying for pompey players? Wednesday linked with Norris but I don't understand it. Is it not worth waiting 2 weeks and seeing if they are free?

I think it all depends, is ross goes and we only have 1-2 fit strikers he has a chance to get some time on the pitch. He also got offered about 5 times what Bradford offered him in wages..

Tyrone Barnett is 50s for championship top scorer, anything there? I admire his finishing prowess.
