When is the Final?   are we having updates? If Paul's got his lappie he might be able to post his hands as they happen apparently he's pretty good at multi tasking.

Good Luck Paul   thumbs up

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Paul through to the semis along with Mr Danzer.

In case anyone is interested there is betting available on Blue Square in the specials section.

I can't find this. Is it me or has this bet gone now? I can only find the wsop bet.

I´m not sure if this has been posted, but news from Barca is that Paul finished as runner up in the Heads Up Championship.

In a long match, he didn´t seem to hit many cards, held on impressively, but spent the last hour not hitting a flop with a dwindling stack. It was difficult for the spectators to see many details, but on the final hand Paul went all in wiith 84 on a board of 10 8 7. The young Spanaird called with J 10, and with a Jack on the turn, Paul was drawing thin. An ace on the end sealed the deal.

Congratulations to Paul and to the Spanish winner!

Unlucky Paul. Still a solid achievement though.

As a curiosity, this appears to be the 5th year in a row than an Englishman has finished 2nd in this event...

The KEY hand was Paul holding    on a    flop. bet and call on flop,  bet and call on turn. River was a    Isaac led out for 4200 and Paul called. Isaac had  .

Brilliant week for Paul though but understandably a bit gutted.

thanks all for your support.
It was a great week for me and although a bit deflated at the moment i am very happy with the week.
The young Spaniard that beat me was a deserving winner and played extremely well and i was happy to go down fighting after a long struggle at least i played quite well in the final unlike the semi where i was outplayed and lucky to get through.

There's a news item on the site regarding this... includes a cracking piccy of Paul looking absolutely thrilled to bits.
