It was never clarified ITT whether they did actually stick to the original plan and go to a 60 minute clock on the final. 40 minutes all the way seems fine to me.

Simon asked the players at the start of the final if they would mind playing with 40min blinds. 1 person objected so they played with 1hr blinds. When he got eliminated Simon asked the remaining players if they wanted to reduce to 40mins, but I don't think this happened.

So yes they did go to a 1hr clock

No, I don't think we have met but if you play regularly live in the north west then we have definitely played together at some point. - is there anyway we could meet on Tuesday? - when do you usually come to manchester?
