On a chipcount i am worth £175, i am not taking less than £250. Although given its small amounts i would probably just play on.

next hand UTG shove with A5
2nd night in a row 4th place after refusing deals
tuesday the chip leader asked for £500 when first place was only £495 it didnt even get as far as me saying how much i wanted before refusing
but someone who WATCHED both times thinks i was stupid refusing the deal over £20 and also refusing the night before

I wouldn't take less than £220 unless I had 10k and the other three all had around 60k each. Your chips are worth more than the big stacks.

Have I missed something in how you determine what your chips are worth in a chip count... or does one of us have the maths wrong? £1475 prize money remaining 10k chips is 8.47% of 118k 8.47% of £1475 is £125This would make £200 offered seem more reasonable to me.

You pay everyone 4th place before you do the calculation.
8.5% of 1175 is approx 140
140 + 75 = 215
Chip count deals are always poor value for short stacks.

I wouldn't have dealt either Iron, I'd have wanted at least 3rd place money, prob £250. As the shorty, you need to get a decent deal regardless on the fairness on the chip counts. If you double up once or twice, you're right back in it.

Just a warning that anyone making deals with Wardonkey should ask for his maths to be checked before they agree :-)

Fair point, well made. I wouldn't deal for £215 nevermind £175...

I just ran this thru an icm calculator assuming stacks of 10k, 20k, 30k, and 60k. It came up with a payout of £256 for the 10k stack.
