There is no need for you to apologise Tony, you are not the one making silly accusations. I say save your apologies for when you are in the wrong mate.

You can't ban someone for having an opinion mate, this forum is all about free speech, The guy has an opinion, Many believe this to be wrong, me included, but I think a ban is the wrong way to go.

I understand Billy, but I just feel they deserve an apology. Some of them are extremely miffed about this.

He will not be banned for expressing an opinion.
The blondes will judge for themselves.

The mods do deserve an apology but not from you mate, You have been offended as much as the mods have in the post in question and let John be the one to make amends

I'm normally the first to defend a persons right for "freedom of speech" and critical of any form of censorship but I just don't understand the intention of the initial post other than malice. I'm intrigued to know why the first post was made and what John (if he did make the initial post) hopes to achieve by it.
Having met a few of the mod's at BB3 for the first time I appreciate what a lot of work they do in the interests of blonde and understand they do it purely as a vocation and "some for ego"
) (note it's a gag, honest).
If John did make the initial post then he should either make:
1) make a public apology as his attack was made on a public forum ( I agree with Red's "Accuse in public, apologise in private? No thanks!), or
2) at least explain the reasons for the post because at the moment it just seems a personal attack without any basis which may or may not infact be the case.
