Your right if hes 3betting a polarised range its likely this flop smacks his hand. Although it doesn't neccessarily mean hes flopped the nizzles and he could have pair+gutterball type hand (97s/86s etc etc)

By a merged 3betting range IP i simply mean TT+ AJ+ maybe AT/KQ/QJ type hands aswell.

I think theres a legitmate case for folding given your stove.

4betting pre sucks, unless you have sum sick history whereby he 5bet jams often enough to make 6bet jamming 200bb deep profitable.

Call flop see a turn, action is likely to be fairly easy on the turn if it goes 3 way and everyone plays face up, could be good fun HU against BTN 3 bettor.

Important to consider if 3bettor will polarise (internet style) or just merge his 3betting range IP of the tip toppy of his range.

Id overbet, his calling range on this river is like flushes/trips. These type stations peel early streets real light but dont tend to hero call rivers light.

His river calling range is in-elastic and therefore i doubt he can hero fold a flush/trips whilst i also won't give him credit for been able to value raise river if we bet say 1/2 pot as these guys love a showdown.

Something over £250 i think.

i don't play much PLO HU but in NLHE HU i would consider 47/43 pretty nitty.

Its not massively abnormal, granted i don't play much PLO but playing 47% of hands in HU PLO is still really tight. Id expect good regs to be capable of playing on the high end of 65%. The fact hes 3betting so much is not a problem in PLO because preflop hand equities are alot closer in PLO than NLHE and therefore if your decent should be rubbing your hands together playing all these bloated pots IP.

disregard ^^^ didnt see it was 3 way to the flop. Id still flick it in as played OTR.

With a middle pair and every backdoor draw in the book, against a guy who is more likely to take a free card with draws (given your description) i think i prefer checking the flop or turn. As it is you've bloated the pot with a meh hand now needing to search for the hero inside yourself.

As played i'd probably snap i don't give these live fellas credit for value betting nearly thinly enough and is likely to be polarised. Expect to see 89hh/9thh type hands, Only hand i can see him play this way is KT, i doubt this fishy bets KJ on the river.

Reading this, I'm almost certain he is not sorry, but merely trying to protect his image for future backing.

Differcult to say in a vacuum. At tough 9 handed tbls (very unlikely in a £1/1 live game) you can fold 22-55. I always raise pairs in unopened pots, limp calling from EP turns your hand face up to any1 with a clue and you should look to have a balanced game. If the pots opened you can just flat and look to play a pot multiway spike a set and win money.

4bet folding sounds pretty bad imo. Just flat and play a flop?

Folding pre sounds pretty weak tight

Karl Guiness knocked out Dimitrios Ermogenous with 7-2 on a 9-Q-7-7-7 board.

Julian Thew just knocked out shortstacked Jonathan Prested after raising to 4k pre, Andy Gomm flat called and Prested shoved for 14k. Julian shoved over the top and Gomm passed.

JT: A-10
Prested: 7-7

The board ran out J-8-4-A-10 to give Thewy two pair and send Prested to the rail.

Sigh had im Prested, had 65k going into last 2 levels lost AQdd<<JJ for 40k pot, then AK<QQ vs turk for 40k pot then the Thew hand was the final nail in the coffin. FML Sad

and jamming turn is tez because you could be drawing dead alot. Theres also the issue of balance when you have a set/2pair in this spot, but i guess the issue of exploitation doesn't matter in live cash games.
615  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: Another Live Cash hand! on: August 05, 2010, 07:02:55 PM
if hes scared of getting freerolled by Ad8d on the turn, jamming would be rather tez.
