Yoyo time for Chris Johnson.

First off, he was taken down to 15k by Iwan Jones who doubled up with T-T v 8-8 on a K-6-A-Q-5 board.

Then, after mucking the next two hands, he makes his inevitable all-im move under the gun, only to find Paul Johnstone reraise from the small blind with A-K. Luckily for Paul, his patience had rewarded him as he flipped over pocket cowboys. Board lacked an ace and Chris is back on his feet. Incidentally, Martyn folded pocket tens from the big blind, but only would have won any chips if he'd rereraised and managed to extract more chips from Paul.

Double through for Martyn Cavanagh - Henning raised to 22k (I believe) and found Martyn on the button quickly pushing in for about 40k more.  A lengthy think during which time Henning effectively called the clock on himself, and he eventually decided that Martyn "didn't have a pair" and called with a risky in a bid to knock out Mr. Cavanagh.  Instead, he hit an Ace on the flop and now has 133,000.

Of course not.

Crash - brilliant game
Logged

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

12 of them left - only a couple of short stacks...although it's not exactly riveting all the time at this stage, I'm always pretty happy that they're getting to actually play poker all the way down to the end.  Nice structure, nice prize structure, OK all round.  Now if we could just get out of this corridor...

Jules Adamson (hartwith) is OUT in 12 position and wins £1,740.

John Exley raised to 21k with A-Q suited, Jules moved all-in with pocket snowmen, and Exley called.

Ace on flop and the youngsters gone. Played a good game though and, from speaking to others, earned a lot of respect too from his fellow players.
