What do batsmen say to each other at the end of the over when they come together? I've not played properly for about 6 years when I was in college. Then I'd just walk down and say either "He's shit", "he's quick" or "you out tonight?" and my partner would probably say "don't just swing, move your feet" or talk about said night out but I wonder what pro's say to each other.

This isn't going to be Colly's last chance to prove himself as he is pretty certain to be involved in the one day team.
I would imagine they have eleventy billion one dayers in Australia like usual, before going to the world cup.
England have bowled pretty well and the Aussies have completely changed their style of batting this innings to cope with it. Not many times in recent test history have they faced the 2nd new ball with less than 200 on the board.

change of style but much the same end result. I like gotta love the bowling figures, no-one's gone for 3 and 3 of the 5 bowlers have gone for less than 2/over

lets say he comes out and knocks a dbl hundred will he still be dropped? and if not - then why is there talk of dropping him? Why is there talk of dropping him? He has pretty much been more out of form than in during the past 18 months. In his interview with Atherton after Melbourne he said himself he needs a score at Sydney. There's plenty of players who will be looking for a good start to the summer, Morgan, Hildreth, Lyth, Bopara etc.

So tilting. If Hilfenhaus was anything near a batsmen he'd have got an edge to one of his play and misses.

Strauss owes us a century after those terrible tactics there, putting everyone on the boundary when Johnson hasn't even got into double figures is just crazy.
