And it didn't take Ken Wong too long to stick in his remaining chips. His empty seat informs me that he didn't fair to well in his last swang song. Hmm, guess it wouldn't be a swan song if he faired well though...

Vince Birt leaks a few more chips, calling Karl Mahrenholz's under the gun raise to 6,500 (blinds 1k/2k ante 200) and then check-passing on the Two Diamonds flop.  McCool laments lack of late stage aggression...

MEANWHILE - Chubbs races into the chip leader spot with 160,000+

Joe Grech raised preflop.  Nick Slade re-raised.  Simon Nowab pushed in (for his whole 75k).  Joe passed, then this happened (thanks, Ariston, for this one):
Nick, "Have you got Aces?"
Simon, "Yes."
Nick, "Will you show if I pass?"
Simon, "Yes."
Nick, "Are you sure?"
Simon, "Yes - what do you want, blood?"
Nick calls all in with .  Simon flips , and takes him out.

There is something midly amusing about that exchange of words...

Midly amusing??  I nearly fell of my sofa.  UL though.

Here are messeurs Lovelady and Nash, the former up to 39,200 after winning small(ish) 10k pot with K-4s on a 3-7-4-9-Q board.

Meanwhile, Stuart Nash's chip count is pictured below.

Can anyone work out how much he's got?

Blue = 10k
Yellow = 5k
Purple = 1k
Green = 500
Grey = 100

Latter Stage Race Gamble!

Ken Wong raised preflop, Lawrence thought about it, and then pushed all-in.  Ken called in a flash with .  He was against .
Flop:
Turn:  two hearts
River:    Just narrowly covered, Lawrence doubles to over 60k, leaving the totally calm Ken Wong with under 10k and slight hope of recovery.

Some of these hands are mad

Says the Irishaman?!?!?!  Wink

lol - I don't play deep stack, 1 hour clock events like sit and go crapshoots... Wink

Whilst we've banging on about the action players such as Simon Nowab, Joey Lovelady and Nick Slade, there are a handful of players who have seemingly passed underneath the radar, quietly working their way through the field without causing more than a slight whisper.

Two of them are pictured below in Poker Night Live's James Browning and Sheep Night Live's Iwan Jones who have 32,000 and 23,800 respectively.

Watch out for these two, could be wild cards, although Iwan doesn't look like he's planning on playing a hand any time soon.

Paul Higgins is looking rather low, not too much over 25k. He just limped under the gun (perhaps trying to represent a big pair) only to fold to James Dempsey's late position raise.

By the way, the blinds are at 1,500 and 3,000 with a 300 running ante.
