John takes down a big pot - 460k or thereabouts. He raised from the big blind, creating a 300k pot preflop. The flop: John checked, Jan bet 160k and John check-raised all-in. Jan passed almost before John's chips crossed the line. It appears there is a home advantage... but "Come on John" sounds a bit like "Come on Jan" so I hope he doesn't feel too left out.

And another round of applause for John signifies that the chip lead has see-sawed his way...

Ben just passed me the notes on that key hand: On a flop of John bet, Jan raised and John shoved it all in. Eventually Jan passed declaring "a draw".

Ahh - lots of shouting, that means:
Jan Heitmann finishes second, and the extra £27,000 goes to John Kabbaj - European Poker Classic Victoria Victor!
Ben will bring the hand which ended it....

And a particularly striking, and as yet unbroken, glass trophy for John Kabbaj! Congratulations.
