Nice to see played an event a high roller at ept Barcelona earlier in the season brings coverage an interest in the game, please to see max kruse still the razz tournament felt a bit sorry for him after the incident earlier in the season, I'm sure it was a factor for him being left out of the Germany squad

I was there covering the event for the headline sponsors. Never seen a media scrum like it. Poor Gerard Pique (he also played).

What isn't known about Neymar's appearance there is that he played three more tournaments that day including a €200 buy-in event. He absolutely loves the game. Genuine genuine passion for the game. Heck his dog is even called Poker (true story).

Yeah saw pique played that day too I'm sure we will see pique play if Spain get knocked out of the euros early, really interesting to know he'd played a couple of smaller events just shows he loves to play

I saw this pic on 2p2, wonder if Rutter had a chat with him?

Do you think Stuart's shoe/sock combo is the reason people find the photo offensive on 2p2?

I read the updates this morning and it seems they both took chunks out of each other at various times.

Fwiw it also stated Lederer re-entered.  That seems very amiss in a championship event to me, though I assume it is within the rules and wasn't more scumbaggery from Lederer.

 Cheesy very controversial shoe/sock combo!

See it's a 1 million dollars for first and 2nd place only an extra $65,000 for first surely $1.25m 1st and 2nd 750 makes a bit more sense ?

Yup, it's a "single re-entry" affair, which, imo, is against the spirit of a "Championship" event.

Have to say, Rutter's shoe/sock combo is an utter disgrace. We have to assume he is a Northener, no Southerner would be seen dead in gear like that.

Not too much chat in evidence in the late stages of the $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball.

You'll no doubt recognise Mr Lederer, and the young man in the foreground is Folkestone's finest, young Adam Owen.

Adam has just shy of 100,000, with the blinds at 1,500-3,000.

Poker is an odd little world where lots of people can't take the moral high ground and those of us who think we can decide not to, because you never really know who you're sitting next to.

Tikay, you've missed this advert while you've been away and I wouldn't want to deprive you of it...

I do wonder what happens at the meetings where adverts like this are discussed.

Mr Shoelace, you know media stuff. Do they just draw a load of scribbled slips out of a terrible ideas hat?
