Figure it's about time we booked our flights, but not sure which airport we should be aiming for. 

EMA by any chance or is there one closer?

EMA is the one, officially called Nottingham East Midlands Airport, which caused outcry in Derby.

I think EMA is the closest Dawn

There is a skylink bus from there which costs a fiver, takes 50 mins or so to the city centre and runs every 30 mins.

Great stuff!  Thanks for that. 

Found flights...cheap as chips, so booking now.  Arrive Friday around noon and leave Monday at around 9:30am.  Skylink sounds great for the Friday.  Will probably go the taxi route on the Monday, depending on skylink's schedule.

They built everything else we'd need for a great week-end.  Don't see why that should be left out.

airport taxi is £27 from airport to jurys inn
royal cabs £22-25 from jurys to airport


the internation boys will be in around 3:30 friday home 1pm on monday


i heard laxie will be home around 4pm on the thursday
