But all would support an equal age of consent for straight and gay kids, all would support equal rights at work for women, all would be against the death penalty etc etc

Most (or at least many) conservatives I know also support all three of those things.

i have voted conservative all my adult life and believe in all three things above

won't be voting conservative this time though

Very interesting Rich , Id be interested to know why ?

I feel conflicted for sure because I will be voting Conservative on the 8th of June but only to make Brexit happen

Historically Sheffield is a Labour strong hold apart from the ward that I am from ( Sheffield Hallam) It has always been a Tory stronghold  but of course in 2005 Nick Clegg won the seat for the Lib Dems hence my voting history has been chequered to say the least.

Im aware some people dont want to stay out of the EU but I do , I was asking the question yesterday

" do people now feel forced to vote Tory in June to activate Brexit and come out of The EU ? "

Im going to give an insight into my limited political mindset  ( rightly or wrongly so dont shoot me down )

I normally vote at elections.

At the last election I didn't vote because  the candidates ( to me ) were all as bad as each other.

I did vote in the Brexit election ( to leave Europe )

I know a lot of people that did the same as me (didn't vote in the election but did in Brexit )

Ever since the out vote won  I have held a deep rooted conspiracy theory that " The people that run this country " will find a way to wriggle out and remain in The EU.

However , at face value it appears that Theresa May is trying her up most to obey the peoples wishes and leave the EU , if true to her word /perceived actions then I actually admire the way she has gone about it !

Bearing in mind I didn't vote in the last general election on June the 8th I will definitely be voting Tory to make sure Brexit happens hence my comment " VWP The Conservatives "

My question is this ...................

like myself  , how many people now feel they have no option than to vote Tory to activate the Brexit vote so we can leave Europe ?

PS ..I still haven't discounted the notion this could still be a massive propaganda / subterfuge move to remain .

Isn't that better for Corbyn than just caving in?

Don't think so, he has to embrace it as Prime Minister in waiting, chance to get rid of the Tories asap, rescue the country etc. etc.

Seems he has effectively said "ok then boss" already.

Yep

Corbyn has agreed to this?  Facepalm

What option did he have? If he refused he loses whatever support he had left from Labour moderates IMO and they would be calling for him to go.

His best strategy is to go balls to the wall crazy promises ala Bernie Sanders and Trump

Disagree.  He sbould tell her to.fuck off and go when he is ready.  She is the one who is breaking the law here.  He isn't her lapdog.

In an ideal world he would but he can't

There would be too many obstacles to overcome taking that line

His best GTO move is to embrace the election as it's going to happen regardless

Brighton win to nil, 11/8.

21 clean sheets in 42 games.
Home to a team who are missing both their two strikers.
Beet home record in the league.

Worth a cheeky £20.

missed the price in the hour this was posted sorry

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/brighton-v-wigan/to-win-to-nil

like the thought process however there is a better way to play . By backing Wigan under 0.5 total goals at 21-20/evens we still win if it ends  0-0

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/brighton-v-wigan/total-away-goals

Recommend £50

i went half way between teh two recommended stakes

Under 0.5 Brighton v Wigan Total Away Goals
21/20
Total Stake: £35.00
Potential Returns: £71.75

Value Price gone  ....must be the £ millions of TFT money   Smiley

Anyone else think villa price vs reading is short

I was thinking that too

Definitely not rushing to back Villa at evens with nothing to play for , whereas Reading defending play off position @100-30 seems a fair price

Leicester playing at their optimum in the circumstances and opposition

Great Grinding ..........could they grind it out like the Greeks did in The Euros 2004  ?

50-1 seems okay with 8 teams left

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/winner

got to be worth £30

Leicester are 11/2 to qualify.  If we back them at 50/1 that makes them 51/6.5 under 7/1 at the semi final stage.  Let's square root that price (7.85) which makes them an average of just over a stage of 7/4 to qualify for the final and win the final on average.  They were a 4/1 shot to qualify v AM so there is no possible chance with two of the 3 teams left realistically (RM and Juve) at the semi final stage they will be a shorter price than 4/1 to qualify and a fair bit shorter against Monaco.  Let's assume 3/1 on average across the 3 teams (which is generous) so that makes them (7.85/4) or a shade of odds on to lift the trophy once they have reached the final.  Pretty safe to say whoever they played in a mythical final they would be a big underdog to beat and not a fav.

I think it is fair to say if you want to back Leicester to win the champions league backing them now at 50/1 is the worst way possible to do it.Just have the treble on them to qualify/lift the trophy at each stage and you will get a substantially better price.  They have to be much closer to 100/1 than 50/1 (if not slightly bigger than 100/1) to lift the trophy imo.

Cue off i trot to lay Leicester at 55/1 to lift the trophy. haha!  Cheers Fraser for making me look at this. Cheesy

Hmmm seeing more and more footage that isn't showing Leicester fans in the best light. Nothing crazy that deserves a police baton across the arse but perhaps a bit more tact is required.

Not a bad result and all to play for in the 2nd leg.

Middlesbrough are terrible obv but 6-1 v Arsenal at the moment?

Agree  , they are terrible but given Boro need to win and Arsenal seem totally disjointed price (s) is too big ...As Boro draw often DNB maybe the way forward

On the Asian Handicap Unibet , 32 red and 888 are all  9 -2 Middlesboro at zero " 0 " which is the same as draw no bet

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/middlesbrough-v-arsenal/asian-handicap

If people cant get on with those 3 VC are 17-4  ( 4.25 -1 ) draw no bet

Oh come on. Push the bloody button

No other board would tolerate this.

They could be in danger of finishing mid table next season at this rate.  They are seriously going to struggle to recruit in the summer now.

Agree

Not with standing the loyalty factor  Jamie Vardys decision to stay at Leicester in the summer told its own story .
