Paul Pitchford has gone.  He told me the story, and with the starting hands, it was an inevitable clash.

Paul had 92o and the other player 33.

Paul raised it pre-flop and got one caller.  The flop of 722 made him smile.  So he bet out, and was called.  The turn was an 8, so again he lead out, and was called.  The river, a 3 giving his executioner an unlikely full-house when all the chips went in the middle.  A 35K pot, going in the wrong direction as far as Paul was concerned, who was last seen heading in the direction of the bar.

unlucky Pitchy Sad

Thank you. Had my usual mardy as to be expected. GG all and nice updates as per usual from the Blondes!

We've lost two already.

Short-stack Turgay Bagdadi shoves with AhTc and is called by Mark Elliot with - there's no help for Turgay and the King on the river just tells us what we already know.

Dean Pearson adds 15k to his stack as he shoves over a raise and call, both passed.

Bad news for lovers of dyed-blonde hair and dodgy scarves.

Tikay shoves over David Anderson's 6,800 raise and is called.

Tikay:
David:

After the flop it's looking good for England's oldest poker player

The turn changes things though:

River

..and Mr Kendall leaves us and now has to decide whether to play in the £150 event which is starting right NOW!

Folded round to Raj Dhiri in the small blind.  The first time we haven't seen it raised up for a while.

Raj turns to Stephen Holden in the BB and says "I've told you, if I've got a hand, I'll be raising you - but if I haven't I'll be throwing it away as I know you're going to be coming over the top with a decent hand."

Raj then looks at his cards and throws them into the much.  Stephen, who hasn't yet looked at his cards turns them over to reveal .  I bet he wishes Raj (or anyone) had something they could have raised with.  Instead he takes the blinds and antes, and it's on to the next hand.
