How is ice shade doing?
As they came back from the break he has 25,000 at 200-400
Other counts from a walk round
Julian Thew 75,000
Wadey Ashraf 65,000
Sean Randall 21,000
John Burberry 80,000
Andrew "second bullet" Psaras 15,000
Shaun Conning 45,000
Nathan Davies 130,000 and probably top 3 in chips
Rexas 80,000
Jerome Bradpiece 20,000
Jamie Burland 35,000
Ian Gascoigne 45,000
chip leader with over 150,000 appears to be UKIPT Isle of Man winner Duncan McLellan. He knocked out Liam Batey caling a 4 b shove from Liam Batey with QJ and won against 10-10. Won another big pot when turning a King high flush where the turn card gave his opponent a set of nines and he couldn't get away from it

Half the field now goes on its dinner break and we are around 450 entries today
Bit of a struggle to get round the tables, tbh. Sorting out a list of chip leaders now half the room is clearing shortly

ok we have anew chip leader with over 200,000 and wonder of wonders I was passing when the big hand played out
Adam Wilkinson raised UTG and Janis Nikolovskis in the big blind, already a big stack, peeled
Janis led out, Adam raised and Janis raised again
Wlkinson shoved, for about 60,000 at 300-600
Not too many hands he could have in this spot. Overpair maybe or what he did have
Janis looked at his stack, looked at what was in the middle, shrugged a shrug and called with
"ooooooooooooh" exclaimed Wilkinson
on the turn
obligatory stunned silence from Adam as he departed and Janis became chip leader

Joe Laming is out, open shoving AQ and being met by a reshove from Michael Kossov with KK
The Q-J-10 flop held out some hope for a junior Laming, extinguished on the 6-3 turn and river
--
Sean Randall is doing well, over 50,000 which is a doubled stack from the last time I went by
--
In a row on table 13 Pinchop with a top 5 stack and 150,000 are Julian Thew and Jonathan Kalmar both with above average stacks
Quite fun watching those three play. Pinchop, Nathan Davies is very understated at the table. Deliberate movements, considered judgements and a deathly pallor.
---
Sunny Mistri is going well up over 80,000 after winning a 65,000 pot against Steven Chandler
On
Mistri led for 5700
Chandler 15700
Mistri all in 50000 getting the fold
---
Biggest stacks of the half of the room currently absent on break are
Paul Grummitt 150,000
Simon Brooks 130,000
Olurotimi Rogers 130,000
--
Garry Hallows aka smokynuts the Sheffieldbiker is also a top five stack with over 150,000

Sean Randall opens to 1300
Mo Muse calls
Liam Batey makes it 3850 from 18,000
Both call
Randall leads for 4,000
Muse calls
Batey, after a slight pause all in for 14,000
Randall reshoves and Muse folds
Randall
Batey
Liam is out and Randall is up to 75,000 as we move towards the point where the other half of the field go to dinner

In a battle of the old timers Maurice Samuels raises and Victor Bunting, short-stacked shoves. A third player Richard Wong folds to the shove and Samuels calls with A-K, and he is up against 5-6
Wong tells the table
"I folded pocket Tens"
to general bemusement
He throws his hands on his head when the flop comes Q-10-10
the turn is a 2
when the river comes a (presumably a fifth one in the pack) Ten as well, Wong looks a little sheepish.
The table has been taking the mickey ever since

Meanwhile the chip leader Janis Nikolovskis has given some back, losing a 60,000 pot with Kings, against the Aces of Simon Taberham all in pre
Janis has the King of diamonds and the flop came
Simon can't have been too confident but he held on the "brick for diamonds" and "brick for kings" turn for river
