Yes £1.7m (iirc)

easy for the sides with test grounds to spend up to that

sides like Leics, Derbys etc with smaller grounds and no Test revenue might spend half of that

1.7m = 32k a week, so one midranking player at a midranking PL team

English cricket really needs a grass roots boost.

BFSB's 1/5th odds 1-2-3-4-5 for The Grand National might be one of the stingiest pieces of "bookmaking" I've ever seen.

Until the on course bookmakers put up four 5-1 co favourites tomorrow.

How about a Tips for Tikay meet up?
How about making that meet up in Malahide (10 miles outside Dublin city centre) on May 11th for Ireland's test debut against Pakistan? Smiley

I'm hoping to make it over, should be good craic even if the game will be one sided :-)

Where were you thinking of staying?
I live on my own in a 4 bed house, 5 mins walk from the ground.
Is anyone else on here thinking of coming over?

I'd have loved a weekend on the lash in Ireland, but it's a bit too close to Vegas for me to wangle the time off Sad

A few days in Dublin sounds wonderful Tom but I'm not really that much of a cricket afficionado and tbh it might need a little more advance planning/notice.

The first TfT meeting in London had something for everyone - NFL, greyhound racing, Michelin starred Indian restaurant, art galleries, and/or a little poker for the attendees to choose from.

Very seriously considering it! I could be seeing in an FPL cash that weekend too, if I can hold off Mark Porter  Cool

Every £10 e/w bet I made .....my balance only went down by £10. Smiley
....and you can do this until you get £125 “back”
