 what a sprint that was, incredible to see loads of good riders givin their all and cav just leave em for dust. love it.

He said in the interview afterwards that he hasn't had to use much energy this time around, so he had plenty in the tank for a sprint finish. Interestingly, he also told at least two broadcasters that there was a team talk on the bus where the boss said "easy day today, lads", to which Cav begged for a finish. Wiggins was first to pipe up and agree, according to Cav.
