Boldie posted the other day how he felt there's been a much happier vibe around the forum lately.  I was quietly in agreement then, but now I'm going to say it out loud.

The blonde crew really do come up trumps when it matters.  Not only have I copped on and pulled out of the low I was in thanks to a few around here...managed to fold Tikay me way to 2nd with the help of a massive rail on Sky tonight.  Not a life saving figure, but that wasn't what mattered.

You lot really were great on the rail.  Was the old blonde back again and lots of fun!!!  Knew we had it in us.  Thanks again.  xx

All +1, Dawn. And well done for handling the disco so well, too.

It's like finding an old comfy overcoat, & you have forgotten how nice & warm it was.

I've not enjoyed an evening Online so much in aeons.
Such a rare thing, the online PRO nowadays. The last one I remember was Red being on a final on laddies and everyone winding up tikay to the point a mod on laddies  tried to get involved

That must have been hysterical!

Don't think I was a member back then, but do remember a good few PRO's since joining.  Reckon we can bring it back to it's old glory days.  If the other night is anything to go by...we're already well on our way.

APAT Spain this week-end and I was really hoping to go, but flights were abso ridic from my part of the world.  Good swerve as it turns out.  The casino informed Tighty 24 before kick off that start time was being pushed forward from the usual 2:30pm to 6pm!  I tend to cut back on the drink big style when I'm playing APAT's, but just know we'd be propping up a bar killing those few hours.  GG buy in if that was the case.

All in all, whilst it would have been nice to get there my bank balance and liver are delighted with the swerve.

Good luck to all the blondes still in for day 2!!!  Bigfella is one and a heart of gold he has.  Would be great to see him bink the win tonight.

Nah, the only players left on blonde are tez (other than monda and yourself) so we won't get to the latter stages of tourneys often enough for a rail anymore Wink

Well shit.  I rarely play these days and mond mostly playing cash tables.  Will hafta step it up a notch in that case.

In actual fact we've loads of good players floating around.  They're just too shy to let on when they're doing well.  Apparently there's this GIQ thing is the new vogue.  All fine and well, but makes it difficult to rail peeps if they're doing it all on the quiet.

Think I posted well done after the fact on that one, but just in case - WELL DONE SOV!!!

I love a good rail but sleep patterns have been all over the shop so I tend to miss them these days.  That said if you see me online at OMG a.m. feel free to give a shout as I'm likely just after waking from my 4 hour daily rest and will happily rail to the end for ya.  I've been pretty good luck for a few on here in the past, so hopefully we can continue the trend.

Sinéad has been on my case lately.  I'm trying to lose a bit of the belly.  The pint count's been cut right down to basically none (bar a visit from Ger) and rubbish food's been cut out too.  I've a brekkie of some sort which usually includes fruit and cereal.  Then I've a decent lunch around 1 or 2pm while the crew are at school.

When I throw dinner on the table for them at 4 or 5 I'm still not hungry yet so just hang around for the chat - but don't eat.  By the time I get hungry it's heading for 7pm so I just have some fruit and a glass of milk or summat and that's me happy.  Except that Sinéad has noticed my 'skipping dinner'.

Tried to explain to her that I'm eating but have the main meal while they're at school.  Yesterday I tried switching things around so she'd see that I do in fact eat a meal of sorts.  Had fruit in the middle of the day and had a small portion of the beef casserole at 5pm.  Only it was after the crew had theirs and were back out with their mates.  So she missed it.  Cue lecture by her at 9pm when they were tucking into a pizza and I turned down a slice.  Sigh.

Fine for her.  She's a twig just like her mother was at that age.  Will be a goodly few years before I get to say, "Told ya so."

perhaps we could relax the rules on calling for the PRO, and make it acceptable if you, say, make the last 5 of 10 seater sng?

Right so.  Just to be sure.  We'll have to get a blonde raiding party on the sky sit n go's for a laugh.  At least then we're sure some one of us is going to make the money.  Watch this space.  Well...not this space as such.  Will post it where people might actually see it.

Was asked to play pub poker tonight but turned it down in favour of the blonde league.  I'll be here for sure and sticking it out to the end railing the last blonde standing.  Should be good fun for a Monday night so make sure ye all get reg'd!

No worries.  Goodly few of them have this whole work thing to get through first.  Expect numbers to start rising after 5pm.
