I couldn't find a picture of Che Guevara but this is nearly as good

I loved this sit com. Power to the people and all that. Robert Lyndsey is a star. Does anyone remember GBH? Moddled on Derek Hatton I think.

GBH was required watching at the time, excellent series

I believe that the in joke was that GBH stood for GoodBye Hatton.

Without googling, please attempt a one sentence explanation of the purpose and operation of the Large Hadron Collider. Points will be awarded for style as well as accuracy.

The LHC is a long tunnel into which money is poured at one end, and microscopic black holes that will gobble the universe come out the other.

I thank you.

These three don't seem to be about so i'll have to do it, sigh! I hope i'm able to construct a singular sentance LHC exposition with the requisite amount of accuracy........

basically, at the end of the day a large hardon(LOL hardon)collinder is pretty big and that and it does stuff for maybe for the environment or power and that, if you got a large hardon(hardon hehe) collinder you're probably a country or something cos they cost a lot of money and stuff.

p.s Hardon, LOL

To get little things to travel quickly enough so that when they smash into each other they might create a big thing that we've not seen before.

or they might be quite boring and do nothing, or they might destroy the planet.

So basically, very boring - quite boring - end of the world, are your options.

Very poignant pic this one by Banksy.

Curious as to what the imagery in that is getting at.
