Uh oh, disaster strikes before my Starby has gone cold.
There's action pre and we go to the flop 3 way.
I have
We see this flop....
Fella - who is tricky - checks, I bet.
One fold, Tricky Dicky calls.
Turn.....
Hmm. Not sure if this is great or terrible, but I bet the flop so lead again. He can have the Q of course, so I can slow down on the river if need be, and if he leads I can fold.
River....
Oh my. That changes everything. Unless I've walked into quads my K-K is good here.
He checks again, I bet half pot.
He 3 bets me now.......
After a lengthy dwell, I have to let go.
He says "I'll show you just this once" and rolls over Aces. And the the Q.
So he had me every inch, not just aces over my kings, but quad queens.
So am down to 3,000 (from 5,000 starting) within 30 minutes.

I'm a bit all over the shop after that, need to formulate plan b.
Blinds 25-50, so I still have 60 bigs.
Don't panic, wait, but maybe up the aggro a notch.

Gets to my BB and there has been a raise round the back to 125 (standard, every hand), Tricky Dicky (SB) flats, and I chuck in the extra 75, obv.
I have
Decent hand to go 3 way with.
It comes.....
ZING.
I check, there a bet round the back, we both call.
Turn is an off suit 7.
I bet, Dicky 3 bets me. Let's go, we get it in.
He has the aces - again - for top set. MBN.
Busto.
Took 42 minutes exactly.
Radio silence for a bit whilst I absorb all, that.

Much appreciated John, but my head is probably in the wrong place today, my pants are round my ankles, and my arse is sitting on someone's plate.
Oh, and I have a curly lip to complete the set.

Just seen the same kind offer by Geo.
It's tempting, but maybe best I just chill this afternoon.
Got the feeling the planets are out of alignment today. Amazing that the same guy had me in both those spots, just minutes apart. He was never behind in either hand, either.

Ha, excellent work, rubs of the highest order.
Am currently taking solace in a choc ice, so everything in my world is fine. Ish.
