The record-breaking UK field has provided an incredible £109,000 first place prize, not bad for a weekend's work. There's a five figure score waiting for most of the final table and even the 128th place finsiher gets to double their money up to £955.

Tournament leaderboard points are up for grabs as well and the current leader, UKIPT Galway winner Nick Abou Risk, is currently ahead. You can check the points here.

This payout schedule is totally effed up if you ask me.

I think paying only 20% of the pool to the winner is bad, But even worse is the fact the 9th place finisher getts only 11 times his money for outlasting over 1000 players.

They are paying far too many spots.

If you didn't pay places 97-128 there would be an extra 25k to spread amongst the final tablists and they would still be paying over 9% of the field.

Simples.

Seems that was before they merged day 1a and 1b.I have just rechecked for other names and he is now listed 13th, doing well though. I don't really trust these lists as being accurate as they had Jake Cody with 27,500 and he was knocked out!
