The Voodoo Lounge is tops but can be a little annoying when they start sectioning off certain bits of it at night time.
A similar bar is the Ghost Bar in the palms. (Where there are glass tiles in the floor so you can look 55 floors to the ground under your feet!) I hear the Mandalay Bay has another rooftop bar as well.
Do the touristy stuff, the fountains, the Venice canals etc if only once.
Also.... cough, Seamless, cough!

HOLLA!!!!
I'm off to Vegas (AAYYYAARR!!) on Wednesday for the Ricky Hatton fight, spending 6 nights at Circus Circus and seeing as it's my first trip to Vegas (AAYYYAARR!!) i know nothing about the place.
There was a tourny guide on here a while back but i can't find it (and it may not be current anyway), soooooo anyone wanna give me some idea of where to go/what to see, in fact anything at all about Vegas (AAYYYAARR!!) it will be greatly appreciated.
I'm arriving in Vegas on Tuesday, going for Poker Dome semi-final. I will be able to show you some interesting places

Nice one Mugly, at last someone going to Vegas who wont let me down ... GO TO THE PALMS AND GET PICS OF THE VALETS IN PVC !!! And Crazy Horse is better than Spearmint Rhino.
Circus Circus is a bit of a shed, but it has the best steak restuarant in town, you will prob have to book in advance, but its well worth it.
The round bar in the rio is great for a few bevvies before heading up to the voodoo lounge ... If you see the girl sitting with Ash in this pic, send her my love
I doubt you will get much poker played while you are there, there will be too much to see and do, and too much bevvy to be consumed.
So to sum up ...
Palms (PVC wearing valets)
Steak restuarant in Circus Circus
Crazy Horse
Round bar

Stick to the recommended titty bars and you'll be grand.
Have a good time.

Oh yes. $10 to get in and then when you get there every seat is roped off and you have to stand up.
Without the view the Voodoo Lounge would be just like any other overpriced poncey bar.
But the view is worth the $10.

Quick questions regarding money, is it best to change to dollars over here or there?
Also can i not just withdraw money via cashpoint in vegas/New York?
What about exchange rates etc, i can get $1.82 over here.

You should be able to get a better rate then that over here, try the supermarkets or M&S.
